Publication number: 20160371764Abstract: A system selects meals according to a user's tastes and presents media files instructing execution of the meal. User interactions with the media file are monitored and evaluated to determine whether the media file is viewed, viewed for inspiration, and/or viewed while executing the meal. Actions monitored and evaluated may include movement of a user device during a viewing, pausing of playback, appropriateness of pausing locations to meal preparation steps, and orientation of the device. The occurrence or non-occurrence of these actions is evaluated for one or more viewings of the media file to determine whether the media file was viewed for execution or only inspiration. Subsequent media files are selected for the user that have attributes more similar to media files determined to be viewed for execution and less similar to those not viewed for execution.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 16, 2016Publication date: December 22, 2016Inventor: Bruce Walter Wilkinson

Publication number: 20160357942Abstract: A system ingests the purchases of a user at various retail outlets and are analyzed to characterize a user's taste profile as well as the complexity and effort of meals prepared by the user. A meal plan including the preparation of recipes corresponding to the user's taste, complexity, and effort profiles. Meal plan media including instructions for preparing the meals of the meal plan are provided. Interactions or lack thereof and the date of interactions are monitored and analyzed to determine whether a meal was executed and the date of execution. A weekly schedule profile of the user is developed based on the complexity and effort scores of meals and the determination of whether the meals are or are not executed. Subsequent meal plans are generated based on the schedule profile and the taste profile updated per determinations of which meals are executed.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 3, 2016Publication date: December 8, 2016Inventor: Bruce Walter Wilkinson

Patent number: 9506226Abstract: A water collection structure comprises within it first and second sub-chambers and at least one water collection chamber. The first sub-chamber is at least partially bounded by a wall and has extending from it a water input guide configured and arranged to direct water toward a portion of the wall of the first sub-chamber. The second sub-chamber is open to the first sub-chamber and configured to accept a filter. The second sub-chamber is open to a conduit configured for the carriage of water from the second sub-chamber to an output port of the water collection tank. In use a filter disposed in the second sub-chamber preferentially filters water from the first sub-chamber such filtered water being deflected by the wall of the second sub-chamber to fall into the water collection chamber while the debris laden waste water falls out the lower part of the filter into the conduit.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2012Date of Patent: November 29, 2016Assignee: Senox CorporationInventor: Arnold Bruce Walters

Patent number: 9281833Abstract: A measurement circuit is provided for measuring the resistance of a variable resistance element biased with an external voltage supply. The measurement circuit includes an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and a reference generator connected with the ADC. The ADC is operative to receive a reference voltage and a first voltage developed across the variable resistance element, and to generate a digital output signal indicative of a relationship between the first voltage and the reference voltage. The reference generator is operative to generate the reference voltage as a function of the external voltage supply.Type: GrantFiled: May 28, 2012Date of Patent: March 8, 2016Assignee: Avago Technologies General IP (Singapore) Pte. Publication number: 20140306804Abstract: Item movement is determined via wireless tracking using RFID data from at least one RFID reader. The RFID data associates RFID tag information with each antenna of the RFID reader that receives the tag information. At least one processor is configured to identify a first appearance of unique tag information in the RFID data. Items may be grouped when their first appearance in RFID data and their antenna association indicates that they first appear in a location within a predetermined amount of time, as indicated by RFID data, and/or when they have all moved from a previous location within a predetermined amount of time, as indicated by different RFID data. A group designation comprises the relevant unique tag information, which may be stored in memory along with a time stamp.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 12, 2013Publication date: October 16, 2014Inventors: Thomas Edward Stiefel, Bruce Walter Wilkinson, Nicholaus Adam Jones

Patent number: 7954432Abstract: A shipping cap is provided for use with a shielded mild detonating cord (SMDC) having an explosive tip that contains a volume of explosive material. The shipping cap is coupled to a portion of the SMDC to define a sealed free volume region about the SMDC's explosive tip. The size of the free volume region is a function of the volume of explosive material contained in the explosive tip. The shipping cap's wall strength in the free volume region is defined by a factor of safety that is a function of the yield strength of the material used to construct the cap.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2009Date of Patent: June 7, 2011Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the NavyInventors: Bruce Walter Piegols, George David Eccard, Jr.

Patent number: 7895869Abstract: In a water diversion system, in a preferred embodiment, a first fold of a deflector is disposed into a first hanger cavity and a second deflector fold is disposed into a second hanger cavity. The first fold of the deflector cooperates with the first cavity of the hanger to allow a resistance hinge-like action of the deflector. The deflector may be lifted open by compression of a curve of the deflector to remove the second fold of the deflector from the second hanger cavity. Methods are provided in which, in a preferred embodiment, a deflector-forming machine is disposed above a trough-forming machine and the deflector-forming machine is moveable forward and backward relative to the trough-forming machine.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2007Date of Patent: March 1, 2011Assignee: Senox CorporationInventor: Arnold Bruce Walters

Publication number: 20100038935Abstract: A multipurpose furniture assembly which includes a dining chair mode in an upright position combined with a rocker configuration or a desk chair configuration by rotating the assembly about a horizontal axis. Cross panels engage and are connected between side frames by means of mating projections and slotted openings in the side frames. Cross panels and side frames are locked in a rigid configuration by positioning of a center panel which holds key cross panels in engaged position relative to the side frames. Side frames are ultimately held against cross panels by cross rods or dowels, one of which is connected to the center panel to secure it in place. Cross rods or dowels are secured by simple screw fasteners.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 14, 2008Publication date: February 18, 2010Inventor: Bruce Walter
