Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for managing information in a collaborative design environment. A host zone includes host zone information handling systems (IHSs) that associate with a business entity such as an integrated circuit design and manufacturing house. The host zone IHSs store host zone confidential information. The method and apparatus also employs a partner zone including partner zone IHSs that associate with another business entities or entities, namely partners of the host business entity. A firewall couples the host zone to the partner zone in a manner which controls the flow of information between the host zone and the partner zone. In one embodiment, the disclosed method and apparatus protects personnel using the partner IHSs from exposure to host zone confidential information. In another embodiment, the disclosed technology permits a user of a host zone IHS to access information in the partner zone to assist the partner or partners with the collaborative design project.

Abstract: A method for producing free form three-dimensional architectural objects by placing construction materials in a matrix of sequential layers or laminations along with fill materials intended for later removal. A digital model specifies the composition of various areas of each lamination so that appropriate materials result in corresponding areas of the finished objects. The relatively void-free laminations inherently provide support to placed material in all directions save the direction in which successive laminations progress. Support in the direction laminations form comes from accelerations, usually the acceleration due to gravity. The uniformity of support obviates the need for large-scale tensile strengths in the pattern of the objects under construction during the placement process. The method supplies the ultimate required object tensile strengths, via a process called activation, in large volumes of the matrix often involving the entire matrix volume.

Abstract: A hand activated incremental power dumping control for power buggies for enhanced safety and ease of use. A hand control lever mounted on the handle bars of the buggy adjacent the hand grips in which control power elevation and dumping activation can be achieved with incremental engagement locking and safety release mechanism which allows the operator to terminate precise dumping rate and optional hands free continuous dumping operation.
