  • Patent number: 11975484
Abstract: Freeform, additive manufacturing equipment, processes and products, including residential, commercial and other buildings. A movable extruder places extrudate that solidifies in open space to create “scaffolding” or “skeletons” of buildings and other products. Elongated extrudate elements are fused to each other or connected by other means to form a cellular structure. Filler material such as polymeric insulating foam may simultaneously or thereafter be placed within the cellular structure to contribute desired strength, rigidity, insulative, barrier or other properties. Finish materials may also be applied.

  • Patent number: 7417949
Abstract: A system and method for MAC-PHY rate matching combines carrier sense signal and rate matching techniques to implement close loop rate matching. An adapter entity responds to each carrier sense deferral to throttle the MAC until rate matching is achieved.

  • Publication number: 20080031272
Abstract: Selecting a profile for an interface of a network device includes accessing profile sequences, where each profile sequence corresponds to an interface. Each profile sequence includes profiles that provide parameters for communicating data. The following are repeated for a profile sequence for an interface until a link satisfies a sequence criterion or until a last profile of the profile sequence is reached to select a profile for the interface. A current profile is accessed, and a link for the interface is initiated according to the current profile. Whether the link for the interface satisfies the sequence criterion is determined. A next profile of the profile sequence is accessed if the link does not satisfy the sequence criterion, and the current profile is selected if the link satisfies the sequence criterion. Data is communicated according to the selected profile.

  • Patent number: 7149397
Abstract: An SFP module provides either a 1000Base-X or SGMII interface protocol to a host and provides a 1000Base-T media dependent interface (MDI). If the SFP module is coupled a host that only implements the 1000Base-X protocol then the SFP module translates the 1000Base-X protocol to the 1000Base-T protocol so that the host MAC sees the 1000Base-T SFP module as if it were an optical transceiver. If the host implements SGMII then the SFP performs auto-negotiation of speed and communicates with the host implement data transfer at a selected rate, e.g., 10, 100, or 1000 Mbps.
