  • Patent number: 8651302
Abstract: An electrical contact coupling for a track-borne vehicle has a coupling housing and a protective flap articulated to the coupling housing. In order to ensure a reliable sealing of the coupling housing in the closed state of the electrical contact coupling, a seal is utilized which exhibits an upper sealing area running parallel to the axis of rotation and a lower sealing area running parallel to the axis of rotation. The upper sealing area associates with a sealing face aligned perpendicular to the housing end face and the lower sealing area associates with a sealing face aligned substantially parallel to the housing end face.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 26, 2012
Date of Patent: February 18, 2014
    Assignee: Voith Patent GmbH
Inventors: Martin Lyda, Brunhilde Wenge, Mario Hempel

  • Patent number: 7095606
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to prevent an unwanted conduction of a flow of gas inside a channel that connects an inner space of an enclosed switchgear (1) to another space. To this end, the channel is closed by means of a closing mechanism according to an increase in pressure in the inner space.

  • Publication number: 20040156167
Abstract: To permit the locking of a displaceable door (1), comprising a door frame (2, 3, 4, 5, 6), which gives the door mechanical stability and a door leaf (3), which is attached to the door frame (2, 3, 4, 5, 6), the door leaf (8) is configured so that it can be displaced in relation to the door frame (2, 3, 4, 5, 6). The door leaf (8) is allocated first locking elements (12a, b), which can be locked and unlocked with second locking elements (12c, d) that are allocated to the switchgear cabinet frame by the displacement of the door leaf (8).

  • Patent number: 6501572
Abstract: Singe-pole or multipole, metal-encapsulated, compartmentalized or gas-insulated switchpanels of a switching station, which are connected by three-position switches, having isolating and grounding functions, to power switches designed with or without vacuum switching tubes, the switchpanels each being arranged in busbar housings or separate isolating housings, and being equipped with transmission devices for the visual observation of fixed contacts are provided. The transmission device includes a camera module which can be connected via a connecting device to a display device outside of the switchpanel. A lighting device is arranged in a displaced manner relative to a camera module for glare-free imaging of the busbar fixed contacts.
