    Abstract: A method for receiving measuring signals by means of a measurement unit, which is fixedly attached to a system that moves within a work space, and for telemetric transmission of measurement data to a base station that is stationary in a work space includes capturing measuring signals by at least one measuring channel of the measuring unit. The measurement unit includes an electronic unit having a first processor that conditions and/or compresses the measuring signals into measurement data. The measurement unit includes a first telemetric unit, and a first antenna for sending measurement data and for receiving configuration and control data. The base station includes a data processing unit, a second antenna and a second telemetric unit. During telemetric transmission, one of the first and second antennas linearly polarizes the measurement data and the other of the first and second antennas circularly polarizes the configuration and control data.
