  • Patent number: 8940426
Abstract: A device stores electric energy, in particular for the traction supply of a rail vehicle. The device has a plurality of chargeable storage cells with cell poles, a cooling body that is in thermal contact with the storage cells, and a plurality of bridge members, by way of which two of the plurality of storage cells are in electric contact. Accordingly, at least some of the bridge members contact the storage cells on the sides thereof facing the cooling body. A bridge member contains a connecting web having two recesses and two connecting parts, each being introduced into one of the recesses. Each connecting part is connected to a cell pole of a storage cell to be contacted. The connecting parts are fixed non-rotatably and non-displaceably in a connecting web by a releasable tensioning device. Thus the efficiency and service life of the energy storage device can be increased by reducing the thermal resistance between the storage cells and the cooling body.

  • Patent number: 4918575
Abstract: The invention relates to a protective device for the wiring field disposed on a backplane (8) of a subassembly carrier (2). According to the invention, a U-shaped lateral section (16) is provided, at the one leg (18) of which a strip-shaped fastening extension provided with cutouts (22) and to the other leg (26) of which a receptacle (28) provided with a longitudinal channel (30) are attached. The lateral parts (6) of the subassembly carrier (2) are detachably connected in the vicinity of the rear transverse bars (4) to a U-shaped lateral section (16) in such a manner that the U-shaped lateral sections (16) enclose the wiring field of the backplane (8). A wiring shield plate (32) folded longitudinally is connected detachably to the lateral sections (16) by fastening elements (34) via the receptacle (28) in such a manner that the wiring field of the backplane (8) is enclosed.

  • Patent number: 4879434
Abstract: A subassembly case (2) including a sheet metal shield (10) consisting of electrically conductive material, having venting holes (12), and being supported by recessed shoulders (18,20) on front and rear members (6, 8) of the subassembly case (2) to which it is detachably connected. The sheet metal shield (10) is flat and provided with holes of rectangular shape which are arranged in two rows (28, 30) and with their short sides (32) next to each other along a bearing area (14, 16) of the sheet metal shield (10). The sheet metal shield (10) is connected to the shoulders (18, 20) of the members (6, 8) by means of V-shaped fastening spring clips (34) each consisting of electrically conductive material and provided with lateral projections (36). In the snapped-in position of the fastening spring clips (34), the leg (40) of each fastening spring clip (34), designed as a detent hook (42), grips behind the respective shoulder (18, 20) of the front and rear members (6, 8).
