  • Publication number: 20140290905
Abstract: A heating, ventilation and/or air-conditioning device (1) includes at least a first component (9) for generating heat and/or cold, at least a second component (13), a power supply circuit (3) shared by the first and second components, and a controller (4) for the power supply circuit (3). The first and the second components cooperate to output air at a selected temperature. The device is characterized in that it further includes a relay (5) for cutting off the supply of power to the first component (9). The relay (5) can be activated separately from the controller (4), and is arranged in the circuit such that the supply of power to the second component (13) is independent of the state of activation of the relay (5).

  • Publication number: 20140232372
Abstract: A method is provided for measuring and modulating in real time the electrical consumption of electrical appliances. The method includes measuring in real time the current consumed by each of the electrical appliances on each electrical line portion on which each electrical appliance is situated and extracting the frequency and the voltage of the electrical signal on each electrical line portion. The difference in frequency are calculated and an alert signal is generated associated with an electrical line portion when the difference in frequency on this electrical line portion is greater than a predetermined frequency threshold value (fthreshold) and/or the difference in voltage on this electrical line portion is greater than a predetermined voltage threshold value (Vthreshold).

  • Patent number: 8532968
Abstract: A method of improving the production of a mature gas or oil field, the field comprising a plurality of existing wells, the method comprising the steps of providing a field simulator capable of predicting a production of the field in function of a given scenario, a scenario being a set of data comprising production parameters of the existing wells and, the case may be, location and production parameters of one or more new wells, determining drainage areas of the existing wells using the field simulator, determining locations of candidate new wells such that drainage areas of the candidate new wells, determined using the field simulator, do not overlap with the drainage areas of the existing wells, optimizing the value of a gain function which depends on the field production by determining a set of wells out of a plurality of sets of wells, which optimize the value of said gain function, each set of wells of said plurality of sets of wells comprising the existing wells and new wells selected among the candidate

  • Patent number: 8364322
Abstract: A method of managing and modulating in real time the electrical consumption of a set of consumers, includes measurement in real time of the electrical consumption of a plurality of targeted sets of electrical equipment in operation, each set of equipment being situated in the home of a consumer, the measurement of the consumption of such equipment being performed by means of an electrical regulation module situated in the home of the consumer. The consumption measurements are transmitted by the modules to a central server. If a global setpoint, at a given moment, indicates that a certain total power should be cancelled, sending by the server, to certain of the modules, the instruction to selectively and temporarily cut the electrical power supply to the electrical equipment. Instruction sent by the server are received and executed by these modules.

  • Publication number: 20040054638
Abstract: The invention concerns an automatic system for decision making by a virtual or physical agent on the basis of external variables derived from an environment described by a digital model, and variables internal to the agent described by digital parameters, comprising means for selecting actions to be carried out by the agent based on a variation of one or several of said variables. The digital parameters describing the virtual or physical agent include digital data representing the agent's motivation. The virtual or physical agent's selection of actions is also based on the value of said data representing the agent's motivation.
