The insulating glass (1) comprises at least one marginal join arranged between the glass panes (2, 3) in the region (8, 9, 10, 11) of edges (4, 5, 6, 7) of said glass panes (2, 3), said marginal join consisting of a spacer (12) and also at least one adhesive. The marginal join comprises a first adhesive at least in the region (8, 9) of two mutually opposite edges (4, 5), said adhesive having a rigidity in the cured state of at least 50 N/mm2, preferably of at least 100 N/mm2.

Abstract: The present application relates to a glass laminate (1) comprising at least two glass plates (2, 3). At least one first polymer film (4) and also at least one shaped part (5) made of metal are arranged between said at least two glass plates (2, 3). The at least one shaped part (5) has substantially the same thickness as the at least one first polymer film (4). The first polymer film (4) has a cutout (10), in which there is arranged the shaped part (5). The shaped part (5) furthermore has at least one first region (6) which engages with the at least one first polymer film (4) in a form-fitting manner in the form of an undercut.

Abstract: The invention relates to an insulating glass unit composed of at least two outer panes and of an edge connector which comprises a spacer profile. With the aim of reducing a relative displacement between the two outer panes under loading, it is proposed according to the invention that the spacer profile has two opposed contact faces which are connected in a shear-resistant manner to the outer panes via an adhesive layer, wherein the spacer profile additionally has at least one articulated region which is designed in such a way that the two contact faces can be rotated at least partially in order thereby to reduce stresses in the adhesive layer.
