Abstract: In an embodiment, there is provided a 3GPP AAA Server, configured to, for the support of reporting or retrieval of location information, referred to as WLAN location information, of a WLAN AN where a User Equipment (UE) is attached for access to a 3GPP Packet Core Network via Untrusted WLAN access:—provide new WLAN location information or an indication of the absence of WLAN location information to a function such as the ePDG that terminates the secured link with the said UE over Untrusted access to 3GPP Packet Core Network, in case of UE mobility.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for restoration of multicast/broadcast service upon multicast/broadcast failure with restart are provided. For example, a method may include detecting a restart of a multicast/broadcast user plane function that was supporting a packet forwarding control protocol session for a multicast/broadcast session. The method may also include re-creating a packet forwarding control protocol session for the multicast/broadcast session. The method may further include providing addressing information for the data delivery of the broadcast/multicast session to the multicast/broadcast user plane function and instructing the multicast/broadcast user plane function to use this addressing information for the broadcast/multicast session if possible.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for broadcast service restoration for multicast/broadcast service upon radio access node failure or restart are provided. For example, a method may include storing a last multicast/broadcast service session information received from a multicast/broadcast session management function corresponding to a multicast/broadcast service session. The method may also include detecting that a radio access node associated with the multicast/broadcast service session has restarted or is unreachable. The method may further include taking a further action to adjust the delivery of the multicast/broadcast service session based on the detection.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for restoration of multicast/broadcast service upon multicast/broadcast user plane function failure without restart are provided. For example, a method may include detecting non-functionality of a first multicast/broadcast user plane function that was supporting a packet forwarding control protocol session context for a multicast/broadcast session. The method may also include reselecting a second multicast/broadcast user plane function. The method may further include recreating a packet forwarding control protocol session context in the second multicast/broadcast user plane function for said multicast/broadcast session. The method may additionally include receiving new addressing information for the delivery of said multicast/broadcast session data from said second multicast/broadcast user plane function. The method may also include updating a network element with the new addressing information.

Abstract: An apparatus and method can include monitoring whether a consumer of a target network receives a resource identifier, a first apiRoot identifying a producer, and a second apiRoot identifying the producer and a producer network. The first apiRoot is for routing a service request to the producer, and the second apiRoot is for routing the service request to the producer if the target network is different from the producer network. The method further comprises identifying the producer network based on the second apiRoot, and deciding whether the target network is different from the producer network. If the target network is not different from the producer network, the service request is sent wherein the resource is identified by the first apiRoot and the identifier. If the target network is different from the producer network, the service request is sent wherein the resource is identified by the second apiRoot and the identifier.

Abstract: There is provided a method, computer program, and apparatus for a network repository function that causes the network repository function to: alter, for a second network function, a value of an attribute in a network profile associated with said second network function; and signal, to a first network function, an identifier for said second network function in addition to an said altered value of said attribute, based on a first request for discovery from said first network function, wherein said network profile comprises an indication of a service and/or an attribute of said second network function.

In one embodiment, a roaming hub receives a message from a sending entity across an N32 interface, and determines whether the message includes an HTTP custom header that indicates a PLMN that is validated. When the message as received does not include the HTTP custom header, the roaming hub adds the HTTP custom header to the message that indicates the PLMN of the sending entity, integrity protects the HTTP custom header, and forwards the message toward a receiving entity.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for discovering a network function (NF) acting as a network function service consumer are provided. One method may include, when a NF service consumer subscribes to notifications from a NF service producer, receiving, by the NF service producer, subscription information including a name of a consumer service of the NF service consumer that subscribes to notifications of the NF service producer. The receiving of the subscription information with the name of the consumer service allows the NF service producer to discover a corresponding NF service from an alternative NF instance within a NF set.
