Abstract: A method is devoted to adapting communication within a communication network with a service core network (CR). This method consists of adding to user profiles (who are subscribers to the network's services) an information field describing at least one physical limitation, and if a signaling message is received regarding communication involving a user whose user profile describes a given physical limitation, of adding to that signaling message a header representative of that physical limitation. Thus, whenever a communication device (T1) involved in the communication with said user receives the signaling message, it adapts, if he or she is affected and so desires, the type and/or at least one parameter of the communication with the user based on the physical limitation.

Abstract: A network (N) device (S) (ISA, ISB) for transmitting signalling messages between a calling client (A) and a called client (B), which may contain resource information regarding the coding resources that these clients have, and intended to establish a communication session between said clients. It has means (MT) for deleting the information contained within a message of invitation received from the calling client before transmission to the called client, to determine a set of usable resources from the resource information contained within that message of invitation and within the answer message received from the called client, and to select, if need be, a coding resource from among that set and insert information about that resource as the only information within the answer message received from the called client before transmission to the calling client, and within the message of acknowledgment received from the calling client before transmission to the called client.

Abstract: A method of transmitting area specific content to a mobile terminal via a wireless network covering at least two areas, each area having at least one access point is provided. Data indicative of the assignment of the mobile terminal to one of the access points is transmitted to a first network component, one of the areas in which the mobile terminal is located is identified based on a logical mapping of access points to areas, and content specific to one of the areas is pushed to the mobile terminal.

Abstract: The invention relates to methods of accessing a document linked to a message sent to a mobile terminal via an operator. This is a document access method comprising: a step of an operator sending a mobile first terminal a message linked to a document; a step of a user consulting the message and of displaying on the screen of the mobile first terminal a parameter representing the size of the document; a step of the user employing the man-machine interface of the mobile first terminal to command the operator to associate an address with the document; a step of the user entering the address associated with the document via a man-machine interface of a second terminal having a greater capacity than the mobile first terminal; a step of the operator sending the document to the second terminal; and a step of displaying the document on the screen of the second terminal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of transmitting area specific content to a mobile terminal via a wireless network covering at least two areas, each area having at least one access point, the method comprising: transmitting data being indicative of an assignment of the mobile terminal to one of the access points to a first network component, identifying one of the areas in which the mobile terminal is located on the basis of a logical mapping of access points to areas, receiving of area specific content, pushing of content being specific to the one of the areas to the mobile terminal.
