Abstract: An example of an apparatus to manage a construction project is provided. The apparatus includes a communications interface to communicate with a plurality of portable electronic device. The communications interface is to transmit a job request to the plurality of portable electronic devices and to receive a plurality of responses to the job request. Each response of the plurality of responses includes an identifier and a resource request. The apparatus also includes a memory storage unit to store the job request and the plurality of responses. The memory storage unit is to maintain a database of resources. In addition, the apparatus includes a matching engine to select a response from the plurality of responses based on the database of resources. The apparatus further includes an assignment engine to transmit, via the communications interface, an acceptance of the response selected by the matching engine.
