  • Patent number: 5074207
Abstract: In an apparatus for moving a push-in truck carrying a printing cylinder into a printing press, the push-in truck is provided with two sliders, or with two guide rollers which are rotatably mounted on vertical axes, and said sliders or rollers are movable into a longitudinal groove, which is formed in a track rail, which is pivotally movable between a swung-out position for receiving the push-in truck and a swung-in position in which the stub shafts of the printing cylinder extend into apertures formed in the side parts of the frame of the printing press in positions in which said stub shafts are adapted to be connected to associated bearings.

  • Patent number: 4414898
Abstract: In a printing cylinder with an adjustable side register and having internally conical ends by which the cylinder is clamped in position between external cones, the external cones are on the confronting ends of journals. One of the journals is axially immovable in a first sleeve which is axially displaceable but non-rotatable. The first sleeve is screw-connected to an axially immovable second sleeve provided with a rotary drive for adjusting the cylinder axially. The journals can be stressed towards each other by the piston rods of hydraulic piston-cylinder units of which the cylinders can be interconnected and have oppositely varying volumes when the side register is being adjusted.

  • Patent number: 4225172
Abstract: A flexible connection for a cable wire rope end, in which the cable wire rope end is enveloped in a hose-like braided sleeve of wire which has an inner diameter which when pushed together in axial direction is greater and when stretched in axial direction is less than the diameter of the cable wire rope end. The braided sleeve has the rim which extends around the cable wire rope sewed or spliced or hooked to the material of the sleeve.
