The device comprises a cylindrical container where the exhaust gas is separated from the water vapor and purified from solid suspensions, and a cell where the purified exhaust gas is converted into oxygen once it has been disassociated by bombarding with ultraviolet rays. The oxygen thus recovered can be re-introduced into the atmosphere or reused for the combustion process.
