    Abstract: A method of forming a fibrin hydrogel composition is described. The method comprises forming an aqueous solution comprising fibrinogen, fibrin-forming enzyme, and a fibrin hydrogel forming salt. The fibrin hydrogel forming salt concentration is greater than or equal to the threshold concentration to form a fibrin hydrogel. The method further comprises reducing the salt concentration below the threshold concentration to form a fibrin hydrogel. In some embodiments, the aqueous solution further comprises a plasticizer. A fibrin composition is also described comprising a fibrin hydrogel having a fibrin concentration ranging from 0.1 to 10 wt-%; and a fibrin hydrogel forming salt. The fibrin hydrogel forming salt has a concentration less than a threshold concentration to form the fibrin hydrogel. The fibrin hydrogel or dehydrated fibrin hydrogel can be in various physical forms such a sheet, foam, or plurality of pieces.

The transmitter position determination unit is configured to determine a position of the transmitter based on a determination of a distance between the first and second known positions and a determination of a first angular difference between the reflected radar signal(s) and the direct radar signal(s) that are received by the receiver.

    Abstract: A bank of order statistic filters applied to a set of antenna or transducer beams are used to detect and determine the line-of-bearing to the source of transient RF (or other, e.g., acoustic) signals. By applying order statistic filters to signals received by a set of antenna or transducer beams, this system sets a detection threshold that is unaffected by transient signals, thereby allowing the detection of these transient signals. Knowing which antenna beam the transient signals are located within allows the determination of a line of bearing to the source of the transient signals.
