Publication number: 20240133478Abstract: A sacrificial media shield to be used in flow control valves in high volume wheel blast peening machines, comprised from a wear resistant material. This shield is intended to prevent undesired wear to the valve and its components via an offset arrangement, which isolates the majority of contact with the abrasive media stream to the media shield. This prevents plastic contamination within the media stream. Being a replaceable component, the shield extends the operating life of the valve by avoiding replacement of the valve in its entirety.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 23, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Benjamin Wilson, Bryan Chevrie, Jack Champaigne

Publication number: 20240131656Abstract: This application describes a magnetic valve for controlling the flow of media in wheel-blast style abrasive blasting cabinets. The valve features a novel air aspiration system comprising of aspiration inlets, chamber, and outlets, in a configuration which guarantees passage of air from ambient into the peening system regardless of installation. This system acts as a passive aspiration source to counteract the negative pressures imposed by the wheel-blast blades in the valve's off-state. This arrangement eliminates the need for other means of aspiration to be installed in the peening system by the end user.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 23, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Benjamin Wilson, Bryan Chevrie, Jack Champaigne

Publication number: 20240133480Abstract: A valve for regulating the flow of ferromagnetic peening materials, consisting of an arrangement of pole pieces, spacers, permanent magnets, and electrical coils. This arrangement uses an angular magnetic field to concentrate holding strength within the working gaps without sacrificing holding strength to the environment, increasing the valve's efficiency. Additionally, this valve covers a large range of flow rates by exchanging center bars and magnets of different sizes, without otherwise increasing the size of the valve.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 23, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Benjamin Wilson, Bryan Chevrie, Jack Champaigne

Patent number: 11896341Abstract: A wireless device for facilitating visualization of a state of a patient being monitored by monitoring equipment. The device includes a wireless network interface, a camera, and a touch-sensitive display. A processor is in communication with the wireless network interface, the camera, a memory and the touch-sensitive display over a system bus. The device wirelessly receives data representative of a state of a first physiological parameter of a patient over a time interval. The visualization data includes a plurality of visualization data values, each of the visualization data values being generated by a data visualization module of the data visualization server from multiple values of machine data produced by the monitoring equipment in connection with monitoring the first physiological parameter. A first portion of a monitoring screen displayed by the device includes a graphical representation of the visualization data over the time interval along with or more range indicators.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2022Date of Patent: February 13, 2024Assignee: Nicolette, Inc.Inventors: Phil Martie, Michel Mikhael, Seth Brickman, Bryan Wilson, Lee Martie

Publication number: 20140336610Abstract: Methods and devices for delivering variable amounts of a drug formulation directly from a drug delivery device without requiring point of use reconstitution as a separate mixing step are described herein. These methods and devices increase the convenience, speed and simplicity of administration of drug formulations. The devices mix two or more components in a constant mixing ratio effectively simultaneous to administration, and allow for variable doses while retaining the desired ratio of the components in each dose. The devices are particularly useful for administering drug formulations that are unstable at room temperature in liquid form. The methods described herein generally use conventional devices that have been modified to administer an unstable compound and provide acceptable storage stability. Typical devices include infusion sets, pump reservoirs, syringes, pens, vials and cartridges.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 9, 2014Publication date: November 13, 2014Inventors: Gerard Michel, Robert Feldstein, Bryan Wilson, Jake Ganem
