    Abstract: The present invention is a method for providing authorization to use corrections provided by a differential GPS base station. The method includes providing an access list to the differential GPS base station. The method further includes broadcasting the access list from the differential GPS base station. The method further includes broadcasting a differential GPS correction signal from the differential GPS base station. The differential GPS correction signal is applied by a mobile differential GPS receiver when the mobile differential GPS receiver receives the access list and the mobile differential GPS receiver determines that the access list authorizes the mobile differential GPS receiver to apply the differential GPS correction signal.
