Abstract: Described herein are modular systems for removably attaching accessories (such as name plates) to cases (such as dance bags). Various embodiments include a clip portion configured to removably attach to a rigid portion of a dance bag. Such clips include at least one attachment mechanism, such as a T-shaped slot, to permit accessories (e.g., name plates, drink holders, or trays) to be interchangeably attached to the same. The accessories each include a corresponding structural element to removably attach to the attachment mechanism of the clip. In an embodiment where the clip has a T-shaped slot, the accessories include a protrusion that has a T-shaped cross section sized to fit snugly into the slot when the accessory is slid into the clip. The disclosed systems thus advantageously permit dancers to attach accessories to dance bags upon arrival at a competition, and to remove the same when the competition is over.
