Abstract: The hurricane protection system for personal belongings may comprise a net, a plurality of ground anchors, and a plurality of tethers. The hurricane protection system for personal belongings may be operable to secure items to the ground in preparation for a hurricane or other high-wind weather event. The net may be placed over the items and held in place by the plurality of tethers and the plurality of ground anchors. As non-limiting examples, the items may comprise lawn furniture, bicycles, motorcycles, children's toys, a swing set, outdoor tools, a grill, lawn mowers, an outdoor shed, a recreational vehicle, a mobile home, construction materials, athletic equipment, or any combination thereof.
