  • Publication number: 20200055903
Abstract: Methods and systems for designing, testing, and validating genome designs are described herein. A computer-implemented method includes receiving data for a known genome and a list of alleles, identifying and removing occurrences of each allele in the known genome, determining a plurality of allele choices with which to replace occurrences in the known genome, generating a plurality of alternative gene sequences for a genome design based on the known genome, applying a plurality of rules or constraints or conditions or parameters or features to each alternative gene sequence by assigning a score for each rule or constraint or condition or parameter or feature in each alternative gene sequence, resulting in scores, scoring each alternative gene sequence based on a weighted combination of the scores, and selecting at least one alternative gene sequence as the genome design based on the scoring.

  • Patent number: 7284988
Abstract: A coupling system that allows maximum flexibility for vehicle users to relocate, remove or replace electrical and/or mechanical devices throughout the interior of a vehicle, with several slot openings formed in the vehicle structure and coupling components which provide the connections of the devices to the vehicle, via the slots.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20070030980
Abstract: A method of recording a recommended plurality of audio signals (40) in an entertainment sound system (42) associated with an automotive vehicle (12)includes a central server (14) for processing a plurality of data (16) associated with a plurality of audio signals (18). A data input (22) within the vehicle (12) receives the plurality of data (16). An audio input (20) within the vehicle (12) receives the plurality of audio signals (18). The plurality of data (16) is transmitted from the central server (14) through said data input (22) to a controller (24) within the automotive vehicle (12). Furthermore, the plurality of data (16) is transmitted through the data input (22) to the controller (24). A preferred plurality of audio signals (34) received from the audio input (20) is acoustically played on the entertainment sound system (42). Then, a preferred plurality of data (36) associated with the preferred plurality of audio signals (34) is recorded onto a user profile stored on an electronic medium (30).

  • Publication number: 20040143440
Abstract: The present invention provides a dialog-based vehicle control system that responds to both voice commands and to a vehicle occupant interacting with a human control interface. The vehicle control system of the invention includes one or more vehicle components that adjust secondary vehicle functions, a dialog-based speech recognition component that responds to voice commands from a vehicle occupant, and a human machine interface that also communicates with the one or more vehicle components. In another embodiment of the invention, a method for controlling secondary vehicle functions is provided.
