  • Publication number: 20240083436
Abstract: A method for controlling brake pressure during a shift of a vehicle out of park may include determining that a first status condition is met when the vehicle is in park with an electric parking brake applied, determining that a second status condition is met when the vehicle is not moving, responsive to detecting a shift of the vehicle out of park when the first and second status conditions are both met, directing a build-up of brake pressure until a brake pressure target is reached, and holding the brake pressure at the brake pressure target until a release condition is met.

  • Patent number: 9119834
Abstract: A high level replication fowl adenovirus (FAdV) isolate capable of reaching a viral titer of at least 3 log 10 is described. Said FAdV is a non-pathogenic strain of fowl adenovirus serotype 4, identified as FAdV-4 ON1. Additionally, the present disclosure also provides a viral vector comprising the fowl adenovirus, which has inserted an exogenous nucleotide sequence coding for at least one antigenic site of a disease of concern, as well as a method for obtaining said viral vector and an immunogenic composition comprising the same.

  • Patent number: 8819701
Abstract: A cloud computing monitoring system has an alert capturing system and a message transfer system that provides performance tracking and alert management to a local monitoring system. The alert capturing system may operate as part of a managed code framework and may capture and route alerts that may be transmitted to an operating system, as well as application exceptions and debugging information. A message queuing system may transmit the alerts to a local monitoring system, which may have a connector that subscribes to the cloud system's message queuing system.

  • Publication number: 20060000092
Abstract: A fire hydrant having a valve seat flange with an integral liner. In one embodiment, the fire hydrant includes a valve seat flange disposed between a standpipe and a hydrant shoe. The valve seat flange includes a standpipe neck defining internal threads to directly connect to the standpipe and a base flange to directly connect to the hydrant shoe. The liner includes an outer peripheral edge that is entrapped within the valve seat flange and an inner circumferential surface defining threads for receiving the valve seat of a valve assembly. The present invention also discloses a process of manufacturing a valve seat flange, including the steps of: (a) manufacturing the liner, (b) incorporating the liner into a core with the outer peripheral region of the liner exposed, (c) placing the integral core/liner into the valve seat flange mold and (d) forming the valve seat flange around the liner with the valve seat flange entrapping the outer peripheral region of the liner.
