    Abstract: A backpack is provided with multiple attached hoods, comprising a front wall, a back wall, a first inner compartment for carrying items, and a second outer compartment having a pocket opening. The first and second hoods are attached to an attachment strip that is itself attached to the front wall of the backpack, but is spaced apart from the wall for creating a passage to the second outer compartment. At least one or both of the first and second hoods can pass through the passage to enter a pocket opening in the second outer compartment and may be selectively stored in the outer compartment independently of each other.
