Abstract: An aerial, landing, takeoff, aircraft collision avoidance system (10) that automatically operates an audible and visual display warning system within an aircraft by sensing when there is an intruder aircraft approaching on the same runway, intersecting runway, or same airway during climb, descent, and midair flight by employing a five-way interactive communication system using laser and radio wave technology and, thereby, providing added safety and protection for users of the system and oncoming aircrafts while being designed to automatically open a simultaneous three-way line of communication between pilots and air traffic controllers during crisis; identify and alert aircrafts what runways are presently in use during landings, taxiing, and takeoffs; and identify what runways are in use to taxiing aircrafts that may inadvertently cross a runway without clearance from air traffic control.

The apparatus (10) includes a housing (24) with an array of lights (12) on the front and possibly also the rear faces. Sensors (14) front and back sense oncoming traffic. A switch (36) allows the user to cause the arrays of lights (12) to flash continuously or only when oncoming traffic is sensed. The device may be powered by the car battery through a cigarette lighter adapter (34), dry cell batteries (28) or a solar cell (44).

Abstract: A new Vehicle Safety Emergency Flasher System for automatically operating a flashing light system within a vehicle by sensing when there is another approaching vehicle thereby protecting oncoming drivers while conserving a charge within a battery of the vehicle. The inventive device includes a plurality of photo-transistors, a control panel having a central processing unit electrically coupled to the photo-transistors, a multi-positioned hazard switch electrically coupled to the control panel, a receiver, and a transmitter. The photo-transistors detect motion from moving vehicles or light from the headlights of a vehicle thereby triggering the flashing of a plurality of conventional hazard lights electrically coupled to the control panel. After the vehicle has passed, the conventional hazard lights are deactivated thereby conserving a charge within a battery of the vehicle.
