  • Patent number: 11038934
Abstract: This relates to intelligent automated assistants and, more specifically, to intelligent context sharing and task performance among a collection of devices with intelligent automated assistant capabilities. An example method includes, at a first electronic device participating in a context-sharing group associated with a first location: receiving a user voice input; receiving, from a context collector, an aggregate context of the context-sharing group; providing at least a portion of the aggregate context and data corresponding to the user voice input to a remote device; receiving, from the remote device, a command to perform one or more tasks and a device identifier corresponding to a second electronic device; and transmitting the command to the second electronic device based on the device identifier, wherein the command causes the second electronic device to perform the one or more tasks.

  • Publication number: 20210057086
Abstract: Medical procedure related objects (e.g., instruments, supplies) tagged with transponders (e.g., RFID transponders, dumb transponders) are accounted for in a medical or clinical environment via an accounting system using a number of antennas and interrogators/readers. A first set of antennas and RFID interrogator(s) interrogate portions of the environment for RFID tagged objects, for example proximate a start and an end of a procedure. Shielded packaging and/or shielded receptacles shield tagged objects, preventing interrogation except for those objects in unshielded portions of the environment. A shielded receptacle may include an antenna to interrogate the contents thereof in a relatively noise-free environment. A data store may maintain information including a current status or count of each instrument or supply, for instance as checked in or checked out. A handheld antenna and/or second set of antennas interrogates a body of a patient for retained instruments or supplies tagged with dumb transponders.

  • Patent number: 10885105
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for suggesting expressive graphical content to a user to share within a messaging system. Expressive graphical content can include images, video, animated images, any of which may include sound, that a message system user is likely to share because it is related to a conversation between one or more users of the message system. Expressive graphical content may be content that is recent, humorous, and/or popular or trending in popularity, and can be shared without a copyright. A transcript of a message session between two or more users of a message system can be used to generate keywords for identifying and prioritizing expressive graphical content. The keywords can be prioritized and used as search terms to proactively suggest to the user to search for expressive graphical content. A search can be initiated automatically upon selecting one or more of the keywords.

  • Publication number: 20200360047
Abstract: A tissue-removing catheter for removing tissue in a body lumen includes a catheter body assembly having an axis and proximal and distal end portions spaced apart from one another along the axis. At least a portion of the catheter body assembly is sized and shaped to be received in the body lumen. A handle is mounted to the proximal end portion of the catheter body assembly and operable to cause rotation of the catheter body assembly. The handle includes internal handle components that interface with the catheter body assembly. The internal handle components provide at least four interface locations spaced axially along the catheter body assembly. A tissue-removing element is mounted on the distal end portion of the catheter body assembly. The tissue-removing element is configured to remove the tissue as the tissue-removing element is rotated by the catheter body assembly within the body lumen.

  • Patent number: 10446143
Abstract: Systems and processes for identifying of a voice input providing one or more user credentials are provided. In one example process, a voice input can be received. A first character, a phrase identifying a second character, and a word can be identified based on the voice input. In response to the identification, the first character, the second character, and the word can be converted to text. The text can be caused to display, with a display, in a sequence corresponding to an order of the first character, the second character, and the word in the voice input.

  • Publication number: 20130027205
Abstract: A patient monitoring network may include patient monitoring units including patient monitors and monitoring stations. A patient monitor may be part of a patient monitoring system including devices for monitoring physiological activity of a patient and the patient monitor. A monitoring station may include a display and user interface to allow for monitoring of one or more patient monitors. The patient monitoring units may be connected to a network. A broadcast communication may be used by a patient monitoring unit to identify an address of other patient monitoring units. Patient monitoring units may then engage in addressed communications to allow for the display of information from one or more patient monitors at one or more monitoring stations.

  • Publication number: 20120323086
Abstract: Physical monitoring systems are disclosed which may allow for alarm sensitivity adjustment. A user may indicate an alarm sensitivity of a patient monitoring system to a physiological parameter, signal metric, operating condition metric, or other parameter or metric. The patient monitoring system may configure one or more alarm settings based on the indicated alarm sensitivity. Low sensitivity may reduce the probable occurrence or severity of alarm activations, while high sensitivity may increase the probable occurrence or severity of alarm activations.
