  • Patent number: 10319410
Abstract: A system and method is provided for generating an edit decision list used to render a video summarization. The system may determine a structure indicating a pacing and a sequence of video clips included in the video summarization. The system may determine weighted priority metrics for a plurality of video clips, may identify first video clips having a weighted priority metric above a first threshold and may include the first video clips in the video summarization. The system may determine similarity scores for the plurality of video clips, identify second video clips having a weighted priority metric below the first threshold but above a second threshold and a similarity score below a third threshold and may include a portion of the second video clips in the video summarization. The system may determine layouts, apply special effects and transitions and synchronize music with the video summarization based on a theme and annotation data.

  • Patent number: 9911395
Abstract: A system and method for generating a corrected input to a display to offset glare is provided. The system determines a location of a user's head and calculates a reflection vector based on a head vector from a device to a point on the user's head. The system identifies light sources using a camera and determines display pixels on a display of the device affected by the reflection of the light sources based on head detection and locations of the light sources. The system dynamically adjusts pixel brightness to account for a detected glare, thus improving the user's experience operating the UI.

  • Patent number: 9681638
Abstract: The wheeled litter-sifting cart is a device that is adapted to store containers of cat litter as well as to sift out used cat litter for disposal of waste and potential re-use of cat litter. The wheeled cart is mobilized via a plurality of wheels that are affixed to a cart frame. The cart frame includes a bottom deck, intermediate deck, and a top deck. The bottom deck, the intermediate deck, and the top deck are all parallel with respect to one another, and are equally spaced elevationally, speaking. The top deck includes a first opening adjacent to a second opening. A hinged sifter is attached to the top deck in between the first opening and the second opening. In use, a first bucket is aligned underneath the first opening, a second bucket is aligned underneath the second opening, and soiled cat litter is sifted via the hinged sifter.

  • Patent number: 9304674
Abstract: A system for navigating content may be responsive to movement of a hand by a user toward and away from a display surface. The content may be visually arranged and presented as a stack of visual panes. Moving the hand away from the display surface causes the panes to move upwardly through the stack. Moving the hand toward the display surface causes the panes to move downwardly through the stack. When moving upward, the otherwise topmost pane is deactivated and hidden. Upon reaching the top of the stack, a pane is activated and displayed in full.

  • Patent number: 8262383
Abstract: A twisted resin panel of typically several feet in length can be twisted after being subject to heat, pressure, and a rotation assembly. In one implementation, a manufacturer can clamp opposing ends of a heated resin panel, such as a panel comprising a one or more layers (e.g., tie/EVA layer, image layer(s), etc.) thermoformed within opposing resin sheet layers. The manufacturer can then elevate the resin panel, and then twist at least one end of the resin panel to a specified degree to achieve a desired aesthetic. Upper securing means (e.g., vertical clamps, rig hardware) at the upper end of the resin panel can be configured to move up or down during the twist of the resin panel in order to accommodate length variations thereof. Upon twisting, the resin panel will then cool into the desired position, and thus be used for any number of decorative architectural purposes.
