  • Patent number: 11904490
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein are optimized for cutting sealing elements on packages using optical radiation. Packages can pass through a cutting device that applies the optical radiation to damage, vaporize, or cut the sealing element (e.g., tape) on the package. The systems and methods control several aspects of the cutting process to adjust throughput, improve efficiency, and reduce line stoppages. Systems can include an in-feed conveyor that orients packages and rejects packages that are out of specification, which can lead to issues such as jamming or damage to the equipment. Systems can include a variable-speed cut conveyor controlled by a computing system to dynamically adjust the speed of packages based upon historical cut quality, environmental measurement data, and height data related to a vertical dimension of the package.

  • Patent number: 11421898
Abstract: Outdoor units for climate control systems and related methods are disclosed. In an embodiment, the outdoor unit includes a base pan including an upper surface, a lower surface opposite the upper surface, and at least one receptacle, wherein the at least one receptacle comprises an aperture. Additionally, the outdoor unit includes at least one coil locator coupled to the at least one receptacle of the base pan wherein the at least one coil locator comprises a tongue which extends through the aperture and a pair of horizontally spaced feet separate and distinct from the tongue and which are received in the aperture. Further, the outdoor unit includes a heat exchanger coil, and an outdoor fan configured to produce an airflow across the heat exchanger coil.

  • Publication number: 20190353391
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to enclosures for HVACR units, particularly enclosures having a plurality of openings allowing airflow through the enclosure. The openings are arrayed with one column or row offset from the adjacent column or row by distances of 10-40% or 60-90% of a length of an opening. The openings may have a major axis in a vertical direction, and columns of openings are offset from one another. The distance that columns or rows are offset from one another may be at or about 30% or 70% of a length of an opening along its major axis. The openings may be extruded openings. The enclosure may be part of an HVACR unit including a spine-fin heat exchanger.
