  • Patent number: 10143313
Abstract: A blanket lifting apparatus for raising bedding above the feet of a person lying on a bed includes a threaded rod rotatably coupled to a bottom wall of a framework, the rod extending upwardly to an opposed distal end. A primary lift panel is operatively coupled to the rod and moved vertically when the rod is actuated to rotate. Spring clips are mounted to a top wall of the primary lift panel for selectively retaining the bedding such that the bedding is moved vertically according to movement of the primary lift panel. An auxiliary lift panel is pivotally coupled to the top wall, the auxiliary lift panel being movable between a stowed configuration generally parallel to the primary lift panel and a deployed configuration extending away from the primary lift panel in the direction of the bed.

  • Patent number: 8950320
Abstract: A portable roller press that includes a base frame having a pair of opposing stanchions, a drive roller assembly having upper and lower rollers extending between and rotatably mounted to the stanchions, a pair of opposing wings that are hingedly coupled to the base frame and selectively movable between open and closed positions, and an idler roller rotatably mounted to each of the wings. The wings have recessed portions that together substantially enclose the drive roller assembly when the wings are in closed positions. Additionally, when the wings are in their closed positions, the idler rollers are contained in a void space between the upper and lower rollers. The wings can be substantially hollow and arc configured for holding and transporting items therein.

  • Publication number: 20060075391
Abstract: A Scenario Generation Framework is described. The Framework provides the organizational infrastructure through which scenario data—a shared set of data supporting enterprise application coordination and interoperation—can effectively be managed from a centralized location. From this location, the framework provides capabilities whereby scenario data, described using a published data representation format, can be copied, viewed, formally compared, modified and combined with other segments of scenario data. Also from this location, suitably transformed data can be communicated to applications for use in initializing their execution in concert with other applications. In the preferred embodiment of the framework, workflow management capabilities are included to allow distribution and control of data preparation activities and an integrated workstation is made available to facilitate data manipulation and modification.
