  • Publication number: 20020020190
Abstract: Adherable body jewelry includes a body ornament having a non-planar area and a non-soluble adhesive pad having opposite adhesive surfaces. One surface is conformable to the non-planar area of the body ornament and the other is independently conformable to a non-planar human body region so as to securely adhere the body ornament to a person's body. In a preferred form, the jewelry provides adherable navel jewelry with the body ornament being a gem-studded globe and the adhesive pad being disk-shaped. The invention also provides a kit including a multi-chamber case for storing the ornament separate from a plurality of adhesive pads.

  • Patent number: 5425475
Abstract: A method and apparatus for dispensing adhesives having first and second parts including premeasured adhesive portions contained in compartments of a package. A dispenser includes a top portion hingeably coupled to a bottom portion, with the portions defining a cavity dimensioned to receive a package containing adhesives therein. • Patent number: 5333737
Abstract: A package for adhesives having first and second parts including a card slideable within a box, premeasured adhesive portions in compartments shaped to conform to a dispensing and mixing paddle, and a mixing vessel dimensioned to receive the compartments therein. The card may be capable of interlocking engagement with the box to prevent card removal. The conformity of the compartment shape to the dispensing and mixing paddle allows substantially the entire contents of the compartment to be removed with one pass of the paddle.

  • Patent number: 5083674
Abstract: A two compartment container for epoxy adhesives and the like includes a pair of upper and lower, pail-shaped containers, each including a removable cover. The lower end of the upper container is bonded to the cover of the lower container so that both containers form a unitary structure when the cover is in place on the lower container. Because the cover for the lower container is bonded to the upper container, the possibility of incorrectly replacing the covers on the upper and lower containers is minimized. A user graspable bail is attached to the upper container so that both containers can be easily carried as a unit when the covers are in place.
