  • Patent number: 7918516
Abstract: A refrigerated case shelf has a main panel comprising a top wall and left and right sidewalls, respectively depending from left and right edges of the top wall and cooperating with the top wall to define left and right channels. At least one transverse brace is secured to the main panel. A left bracket has an insertion portion within the left channel and a right bracket has an insertion portion within the left channel.

  • Publication number: 20100077781
Abstract: A refrigerated case shelf (38) has a main panel (120) comprising a top wall (140) and left (142) and right (144) sidewalk, respectively depending from left and right edges of the top wall and cooperating with the top wall to define left (164) and right (166) channels. At least one transverse brace (126; 128) is secured to the main panel (120). A left bracket (122) has an insertion portion (168) within the left channel (164) and a right bracket (124) has an insertion portion (170) within the left channel (166).

  • Patent number: 4955209
Abstract: A cryogenic freezer having an insulated cabinet forming an interior vessel with a bottom and sloping sides. A shallow liquid nitrogen bath is maintained in the vessel at a predetermined level. A conveyor assembly having a medial portion shaped to conform to the profile of the vessel is pivotally mounted at one end so that the medial portion is submerged in liquid nitrogen. An endless conveyor belt is mounted on the conveyor assembly by means of support rollers and guides to maintain a tensioned relationship. A jack is provided on the conveyor assembly to rotate the assembly about its pivot. An exhaust system is connected to the cabinet to remove evolved nitrogen gas.

  • Patent number: 4805806
Abstract: Apparatus for dispensing metered quantities of liquefied gas such as liquid includes a thermally-insulated reservoir having at its bottom an outlet passage leading to a dispensing orifice outside the thermal insulator. There is a single valve for controlling admission of the liquefied gas to the dispensing orifice. The passage is in heat conductive relationship with a block of heat conductive material in the liquefied gas so as to maintain the passage sufficiently cold to prevent substantial evaporation of liquefied gas within the part of the passage with the reservoir. The valve may be cam or solenoid actuated to dispense drop of liquefied gas of chosen volume.

  • Patent number: 4235858
Abstract: In a process for producing nitric acid, a mixture of oxygen, nitrogen, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, and dinitrogen tetroxide is introduced into an absorption column into which cold oxygen (below 0.degree. C.) is introduced. H.sub.2 O is introduced into the upper reaches of the column and reacts with the nitrogen dioxide and dinitrogen tetroxide to form nitric acid. The low oxygen temperature helps to shift the equilibrium between nitric oxide and oxygen to dinitrogen tetroxide and in favor of reacting the latter with water to form nitric acid.
