  • Publication number: 20210188477
Abstract: Corrugated containers with a seal and corresponding systems, blanks, and manufacturing methods are provided. An example corrugated container for receiving products therein includes a bottom panel and a plurality of wall panels extending therefrom. When the container is formed, the plurality of wall panels are folded with respect to the bottom panel and extend upwardly to form a receptacle with the bottom panel. The corrugated container further includes a plurality of flange flaps that each extend from one of the plurality of wall panels. When the container is formed, the plurality of flange flaps are folded away from an opening of the receptacle and define a rim for receiving a seal thereon (e.g., a top seal). The seal is formed of film and sized to fit over the opening of the container to contain the products within the receptacle. An eco-friendly product container is thus provided.

  • Patent number: 10696444
Abstract: A container includes a plurality of panels integrally arranged with respect to each other and with respect to a set of orthogonal x, y and z axes, the plurality of panels being foldable to create the container. The plurality of panels include a first panel disposed parallel to the z-axis, the first panel having a first side portion, a second side portion, and a display portion disposed between the first and second side portions, the first and second side portions and the display portion being coplanar and bordering at least a portion of a product display opening. The first panel further includes a first relief feature disposed between the display portion and the first side portion, and a second relief feature disposed between the display portion and the second side portion, wherein the at least a portion of the product display opening and the first and second relief features are formed by an absence of material of the first panel.

  • Patent number: 10414539
Abstract: A reinforced container includes first, second and third panels, the first and second panels having a first fold line therebetween, the first and third panels having a second fold line therebetween, the first and second panels being disposed parallel to the z-axis, the third panel being disposed orthogonal to the z-axis, and the first fold line defining a first corner oriented parallel to the z-axis. A strength enhancing feature is disposed at the top of the first corner with a continuous planar edge orthogonal to the z-axis. The third panel defines a top surface of the container, the planar edge of the strength enhancing feature being disposed substantially parallel with at least a portion of the top surface, and the top surface has a corner portion disposed relative to the planar edge at a distance no greater than one half thickness of the third panel above the planar edge.
