Patent number: 11669229Abstract: Techniques in this disclosure may provide a user interface that concurrently displays multiple panels which provide visualization of emergency call data of a law enforcement agency. The user interface can provide a high-level overview of emergency calls in a geographical area. Each panel in the user interface can provide visualization of the emergency calls and/or statistics relating to the calls. A user can customize which panels to include in the user interface and/or customize setting for each panel. The user may apply various types of filters to the data displayed in the user interface, and the panels can update the visualizations according to the filters. The user interface can also provide the ability to show data at various levels of detail within the same user interface or panel. The techniques in the disclosure can provide a convenient, digestible overview of tactical and/or strategic data in a single user interface.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2021Date of Patent: June 6, 2023Assignee: Palantir Technologies Inc.Inventors: Arseny Bogomolov, Justin Streufert, Bryan Knight

Publication number: 20140337296Abstract: Techniques to recover files in a storage network are described. A recovery manager application may manage file recovery operations for a file sharing application. The recovery manager application may comprise a recovery queue component to receive a request to recover a primary file deleted from a primary storage server. The recovery manager application may also comprise a file location component to locate a secondary file stored in a secondary storage server, the secondary storage server to comprise one of multiple secondary storage servers each configured to utilize a different file duplication technique, the secondary file to comprise a copy of the primary file. The recovery manager application may also comprise a file recovery component to retrieve the secondary file from the secondary storage server, and create a recovered primary file based at least in part on the secondary file. Other embodiments are described and claimed.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2013Publication date: November 13, 2014Inventor: Bryan Knight

Patent number: 8719436Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for tunneling non-hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) data streams through a reverse proxy. The method can include soliciting a connection with a reverse proxy protecting a back-end server computing device. A connection can be established with the back-end server computing device via the reverse proxy through the solicitation. Responsive to establishing the connection, the connection can be maintained in order to exchange non-HTTP data over the secured connection. Significantly, and unlike prior art HTTP tunneling implementations, in the present invention, the non-HTTP data can be exchanged over the connection without encapsulating the non-HTTP data within HTTP messages.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 2003Date of Patent: May 6, 2014Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Keith Bryan Knight, James Winston Lawwill, Jr., Brian L. Patent number: 7272642Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for managing an interposed reverse proxy. The method can include comparing within a markup language document, a host address for the markup language document and a codebase address for a code base supporting logic disposed within the markup language document. If the host address and the codebase address differ, it can be concluded that a reverse proxy has obscured from view a server source of the markup language document. The method of the invention further can include retrieving a server affinity identifier for the server source from the configuration tags for the logic. Responsive to concluding that a reverse proxy has obscured from view a server source of the markup language document, a tunneled connection to the server source can be attempted through the reverse proxy by inserting the server affinity identifier in an address specified in the attempt.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 2003Date of Patent: September 18, 2007Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Keith Bryan Knight, James Winston Lawwill, Jr., Brian L.
