  • Patent number: 11775978
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media utilized for event-based authentication. One method includes recognizing an event and receiving, from a device, a withdrawal request of a user, wherein the withdrawal request includes a captured feature by the device. The method further includes determining that the user is associated with the recognized event using at least a geographic proximity between the event and the withdrawal request, wherein the geographic proximity is a given radius around a location of the event, and wherein the device is within the given radius and adjusting authentication rules based on the determination that the user is associated with the recognized event, wherein the adjustment of the authentication rules includes adjusting a matching threshold between the captured feature and a reference feature. The method further includes processing the withdrawal request for the user based on the adjusted authentication rules.

  • Patent number: 11593801
Abstract: A method for implementing transactions includes receiving, by a first computing system, a transaction request from a second computing system, the transaction request indicating a first account number that is an alias of a transaction account having a second account number, and specifying a transaction. The method further includes determining the second account number by referencing a data structure that associates the first account number and the second account number, determining a verification policy associated with the second account number, and transmitting a verification challenge based on the verification policy. The method yet further includes receiving a response to the verification challenge, determining to authorize the transaction request based on the response to the verification challenge, and implementing the transaction involving the transaction account specified by the transaction request.

  • Patent number: 11205147
Abstract: A computing system includes a network interface configured to communicate data over a network, a vendor database configured to retrievable store vendor data related to a vendor of interest, and a processing circuit with a processor and memory. The memory is structured to store instructions that are executable by the processor and cause the processing circuit to identify a vendor of interest; conduct a search of internal documents and external resources to obtain the vendor data related to the vendor of interest, store the vendor data in the vendor database, and generate a vendor performance score based on the vendor data.

  • Publication number: 20210334813
Abstract: A banking system includes a connected device comprising a biometric sensor and a computer system communicatively coupled to the connected device. The connected device is configured to receive, via the biometric sensor, biometric data associated with a biometric condition of a customer of a financial institution. The computer system is configured to receive the biometric data, receive location data associated with a position of the customer, generate a health score of the customer in response to receiving a transaction request, determine a biometric state of the customer based on at least one of the health score exceeding a predetermined threshold of a base score or the position of the customer during a financial transaction, and transmit an account alert to a third party prior to authorizing the transaction request based on the biometric state of the customer.

  • Publication number: 20210224799
Abstract: Entry point management and dynamic cross-channel authorization token management is provided. Information related to available authentication tokens and customer data, both historical and current, is obtained and an authentication risk score is determined. Based on the authentication risk score and the available authentication tokens, one or more authentication challenges are rendered based on an attempt to access a customer account. The authentication challenges are independent of the access channel.
