  • Publication number: 20250198192
Abstract: An improvement in the form of an adjustment that can be advantageously utilized during the installation process of co-mounted doors or single doors that can improve alignment at a stage from which alignment can be set for operation henceforth. For a single door, such an adjustment can be utilized for final alignment of a single handle assembly component parts based upon door opening, or other installation specifications. Also, the present invention provides sealing arrangements that provide effective seals to accommodate the latch tongues of the latch assemblies of co-mounted doors as a door opens and closes so as not to cause unwanted interaction that can wear a seal over time, as well as sealing arrangements to work effectively in situations such as at the hinge assemblies of co-mounted doors where there can be obstruction with the hinge-side door stop surface of a door jamb.
