  • Patent number: 11934241
Abstract: A fan device used with respect to a computing device. The fan device includes at least two fans that provide airflow for the computing device and a controller that adjusts the fans' speeds in an attempt to avoid harmonic vibrations of the at least two fans. The fan device may include at least one sensor, and the controller may adjust the fans' speeds based at least on information from the sensor(s) in the attempt to avoid the harmonic vibrations. The attempt to avoid the harmonic vibrations may also attempt to mitigate one or more of turbulence, pressure, over-heating, power consumption, or noise in, by, or around the computing device. Reversal of airflow may also be used. A fan bar that enables isolation of ground return noise may also be used. The controller may use sums of primes calculations, phase analysis, common divisor calculations, and the like. Also, associated methods.

  • Patent number: 11925342
Abstract: A minimally invasive dilation device includes a plurality of rigid arms radially arrayed about a center and a dilating member positioned between the arms. A stylus may occupy the center. An outer flexible sleeve may be circumferentially secured to the arms, lying within or without the plurality of arms. An inner mesh may surround the stylus and dilating member. The device may be introduced into tissue toward a targeted area, while in a closed configuration. The dilating member may be a balloon, wherein upon inflation of the balloon, the arms are pushed radially outward, expanding the device and dilating the surrounding tissue. The dilating member may be a tube, wherein upon insertion of the tube, the arms are pushed radially outward. A cannula may be inserted inside the plurality of arms to keep the arms in an open configuration, and the dilating member may be withdrawn, providing an open passageway through the device to the targeted area. The device may be used with a neural monitoring system.

  • Patent number: 11859632
Abstract: A device for pumping fluid such as paints, sealants, caulks, and polymers made of a rotor assembly and a pump body. The rotor assembly contains at least one laminar flow element arranged in such a manner as to conduct the fluid from inlet to outlet as the rotor spins. The rotor may vary its distance from the pump body. This arrangement provides a rotor with exceptional capacity to pump without damage to the fluid media and to measure the fluid rate at low or high rotational speed with viscosity that can vary. The device also may provide a spray nozzle or nozzles that produce a multiplicity of spray patterns.

  • Patent number: 11854389
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are disclosed for improving traffic safety and efficiency. The system includes various signal transmitters and receivers positioned throughout roadways, within automobiles, in smartphones, or supported by a cellular network backbone, for distributing traffic related information to users and traffic controller equipment. Embodiments of the present disclosure allow for vehicles and/or pedestrians to initiate a dual-transmission of cellular and RF signals for changing a traffic light state, where the first signal received at a traffic intersection controller unit is processed for changing the traffic light state (e.g., changing a light from red to green on-demand). Other embodiments of the present disclosure allow for users to receive visible and/or audible traffic related alerts on mobile devices, where the alerts are based on data shared between nearby drivers, pedestrians, and the traffic controlling equipment.

  • Patent number: 11747792
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for remotely updating configuration logic on Internet of Things (IoT) devices located physically proximate to industrial systems equipment. The IoT devices are configured to monitor and detect outputs, such as sensor data, corresponding to the industrial systems equipment, and the IoT devices are further configured to operate as gateway devices through which communications are routed between a remote computing system and the industrial systems equipment. The IoT devices operate according to configuration files generated at the remote computing system and transmitted to the IoT devices. The IoT devices are notified by the remote computing system of subsequent updates to their respective configuration files. Responsive to receiving a configuration file update notice, an IoT device may establish a back-channel communication link to the remote computing system across which the updated configuration file is identified and retrieved based at least on an updated timestamp.
