  • Patent number: 10289407
Abstract: In an embodiment, a data processing method provides creating and storing one or more comment records, wherein each of the comment records associates a first identifier of a comment with a second identifier of a line of computer program source code to which the comment pertains, and a change set of a first version of the source code; receiving a request to display a second version of the source code, and in response to the request: determining a diff between the second version of the source code and the first version of the source code; for each hunk of the diff, automatically computing a drift value representing a number of lines of the source code by which a particular comment associated with the first version of the source code has changed with respect to the second version of the source code; updating a particular comment record of the particular comment by modifying the second identifier based upon the drift value; repeating the receiving, determining, computing and updating for all comments that are asso

  • Publication number: 20180283352
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a method for preventing a tower strike of a tower of a wind turbine by a rotor blade thereof. The method includes mounting a plurality of sensors circumferentially around the tower at a height generally aligning with a blade tip of the rotor blade in a rotor plane as the blade tip passes through a six o'clock position. Further, the method includes generating, via one or more of the plurality of sensors, at least one distance signal representative of a distance between the blade tip of the rotor blade and the tower as the rotor blade passes by one or more of the sensors. Thus, the method also includes implementing, via a wind turbine controller, a corrective action if the distance signal exceeds a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 9756894
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a shoe construction that includes an upper that has an interior surface and a corrugated exterior surface of rapid manufactured material. The upper interior surface and corrugated exterior surface form a lattice-interlace surface. The lattice-interlace surface includes the interior surface that has a plurality of horizontal laths, the corrugated exterior that has a plurality of vertical laths, and a plurality of lattice apertures that extend from an interior of the shoe to an exterior of the shoe. The shoe construction further includes an interior sole portion of sintered material. The interior sole portion forms a tessellated framework. The tessellated framework includes a lattice of hollow cubes; each hollow cube has a top surface opening and a bottom surface opening, the openings extending from an interior of the shoe to an exterior of the shoe.

  • Publication number: 20170049966
Abstract: An apparatus for delivering an injectate to a patient includes a piston mechanism including an outer piston. The outer piston is slideably disposed in a chamber of the apparatus and has a channel extending therethrough. The piston mechanism also includes an inner piston including a stop and a plunger element, the plunger element being slideably disposed in the channel of the outer piston. The piston mechanism is configurable into a number of configurations including a first configuration in which the stop of the inner piston is not in contact with the outer piston such that the inner piston is movable in the channel without causing movement of the outer piston and a second configuration in which the stop of the inner piston is in contact with the outer piston such that the inner piston and the outer piston move together in the chamber.

  • Patent number: 8543230
Abstract: A system and method is provided for improving media playback and seek time for media files such as encoded audio data. As the media is decoded during playback, frame position information is stored in a frame table. This frame position information may be used for pause/resume functionality, and for seek operations. If a seek operation is to a position not stored in the frame table, the media data is parsed to produce frame position information that is added to the frame table until the seek location is reached. Frame table data may be stored in several different forms, including periodic intervals that may be selected based on the length of the media data, and also contemporaneous data useful for resuming from a pause command.

  • Patent number: 8493187
Abstract: A wireless sensor reader is provided to interface with a wireless sensor. The wireless sensor reader transmits a narrowband, fixed frequency excitation pulse to cause the wireless sensor to generate a ring signal. The ring signal corresponds to the value of the physical parameter being sensed. The wireless sensor reader receives and amplifies the ring signal and sends the signal to a phase-locked loop. A voltage-controlled oscillator in the phase-locked loop locks onto the ring signal frequency and generates a count signal at a frequency related to the ring signal frequency. The voltage-controlled oscillator is placed into a hold mode where the control voltage is maintained constant to allow the count signal frequency to be determined. The low power, simple circuitry required to generate the excitation pulse allows the reader to be a small, battery operated unit. Alternative methods of frequency determination are also disclosed.
