The plurality of outer passageways extend from the generally proximal portion through the body to the generally distal portion. A flexible member is disposed between each passageway. The latching assembly includes an actuator arm attached to the seal cap and a catch positioned in the sleeve hub. The actuator arm includes a proximal end and a distal end adapted to mate with the catch. The proximal end of the actuator arm is configured to move radially inwardly to produce a radially outward movement of the distal end of the actuator arm to unlock the sleeve from the obturator.

The lid is configured to secure the multiple tissue samples within a corresponding reservoir by enclosing each corresponding opening in the closed configuration. The lock is configured to selectively lock the lid against the base in the closed configuration. The one or more vents are configured to enable entry of fluid into the reservoirs when the lid is in the closed configuration. The invention provides an action-reaction harness system as well as a method of accommodating a child's range of movements without compromising the integrity of the harness.
