  • Patent number: 11226888
Abstract: Systems and methods for function argument checking are disclosed. The systems and methods can use declarations and validation instructions based on the declarations. Validation instructions for a function can be generated automatically from a declaration for the function. The validation instructions can be executed in response to invocation of the function. The validation instructions can include instructions for determining whether an input satisfies a condition on a corresponding argument of the function, instructions for identifying a position of the input, and instructions for providing, in response to determining that the input does not satisfy the condition, an indication of the nonsatisfaction of the condition and the position. The condition can specify a datatype or size for the argument or one or more validation functions for checking the argument.

  • Patent number: 9880925
Abstract: A system may obtain an executable code segment of program code. The executable code segment may be associated with an emitter, and the program code, when executed, may be associated with a plurality of execution states. Each execution state, of the plurality of execution states, may correspond to a state of execution at a point in the execution of the program code that causes an event, of the plurality of events. The system may execute the executable code segment. The system may receive, from the emitter and based on executing the executable code segment, a program state corresponding to the particular execution state. The emitter may emit the information based on a particular event caused by executing the executable code segment. The system may collect the program state and information describing the particular event.

  • Patent number: 8714582
Abstract: A baby stroller system is provided including a baby stroller and a ride along board attached thereto for supporting a rider (e.g., a child) while the stroller is pushed. The ride along board may include a platform for the rider to stand upon and at least one wheel for supporting the platform. Additionally, the ride along board is positioned asymmetrically relative to the stroller, e.g., in-line with one of the rear wheel or laterally outside of the stroller wheel base. Further, the platform may be positioned laterally outside of the handlebars, thereby providing more room for the rider (e.g., not having to stand or squeeze between the handlebars) and moving the ride along board and rider away from the moving space of a user pushing the stroller. The ride along board further includes at least three wheels defining a ride along board wheel base, where a center of mass of the ride along board is within the wheel base. The ride along board may be attached to opposing ends of an axle of one of the rear wheels.

  • Publication number: 20130249202
Abstract: A multimedia device pouch is provided for attaching to a stroller or other ambulatory vehicle and holding a multimedia device in multiple viewing orientations. The pouch includes fasteners for attaching the pouch to a stroller and a pocket to secure a multimedia device. The pocket includes a window configured such that a user may interact with and view the device through the window while keeping the device secured. The pouch may also include additional fabric and/or fasteners configured to angle the pocket for viewing the multimedia device at various viewing angles. A stroller is also provided with a multimedia device pouch attached to the stroller handle, the stroller handle configured to pivot between multiple operating positions, with the viewing angle of the multimedia device in the pouch changing with the multiple operating positions to provide various viewing alternatives to both stroller passengers and those pushing the stroller.

  • Patent number: 8534751
Abstract: An all weather sunshade system for infant carriers includes a main sunshade that is pivotally attached to the infant carrier and an integrally provided sunshade extension. The main sunshade is selectively deployable and includes curved semi-rigid members which support a fabric material and includes a front edge. A rear edge of the sunshade extension is secured along the front edge of the main sunshade structure and is sized and shaped so that it may be selectively drawn forward, when the main sunshade is fully deployed, and secured around a front portion of the infant carrier. In doing so, the sunshade extension remains taut following the contours defined by the shape of the front edge of the main sunshade and the perimeter shape of the front edge of the infant carrier.

  • Patent number: 8511749
Abstract: A modular child restraint system for use in vehicles comprises a base and interchangeable attachable seats where the seats are for different stages of childhood development. The system can further comprise additional bases adapted to other uses such as strollers and infant swings. A common engagement mechanism allows the various seats to be moved from one base to another. One such system comprises a base and a seat configured to rotate relative to one another when engaged. The seat can also lock in a position relative to the base. The base includes a visual indicator to show that the seat is secured to the base.

  • Patent number: 8256841
Abstract: A child restraint system for use in vehicles comprises a seat portion and a base. The base secures the child restraint system to a vehicle seat with a vehicle restraint such as a seat belt or a LATCH system. The base both engages the vehicle restraint and includes a force-multiplying mechanism for tensioning the vehicle restraint. Tensioning the vehicle restraint secures the base by forcing the base against the vehicle seat. An embodiment of the base includes a platform configured to rest on the vehicle seat, an upright member joined to the platform, and a tensioning device, including a force-multiplying mechanism, for tensioning the vehicle restraint.

  • Patent number: 8210550
Abstract: A suspension system for a stroller is described. The suspension system may include a rotating damper mechanism used between a stroller frame and a stroller wheel. In one example, apparatus for providing suspension/damping of a stroller includes a first member attached to a stroller frame, a second member disposed co-axially with the first member and operable to rotate relative to the first member, and at least one elastic member (e.g., urethane) positioned between the first and second members for damping motion (e.g., rotational or translational motion) therebetween. In one example, four elastic members are disposed between the first and second members.

  • Patent number: 8182033
Abstract: Improvements for child restraint systems are directed specifically to the covers, handles, and harnesses thereof. A child restraint cover is readily removed without having to detach the harness from the seat. A soft and semi rigid child restraint handle includes members that are tied together in a crossover fashion. Another handle of the invention spans above the restraint in a head to foot direction. A further handle design includes dual integrated handles. 5-point and 7-point harnesses that do not require threading a child's limbs through harness loops are also provided. A harness height adjuster is also described.
