Publication number: 20260160435Abstract: A dehumidification system including a heat exchanger that has a coolant coil with a coolant coil section and a reheat coil with a reheat coil section. The coolant coil section and the reheat coil section are intertwined with each other within an envelope of the heat exchanger. The dehumidification system also includes a coolant circuit that has a condenser fluidly connected to the coolant coil, and a reheat circuit that has a heater operably coupled to the reheat coil. The coolant circuit may circulate a refrigerant to cool an airflow flowing through the heat exchanger, and the reheat circuit may circulate a reheat fluid to heat the airflow. The intertwined nature of the coolant coil section and the reheat coil section is configured to dehumidify the airflow within the heat exchanger envelope.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 23, 2024Publication date: June 11, 2026Inventors: John O'Brian, Bryan Ware

Patent number: 9292874Abstract: An integrated risk management tool includes a persistent object database to store information about actors (individuals and/or groups), physical surroundings, historical events and other information. The risk management tool also includes a decision support system that uses data objects from the database and advanced decision theory techniques, such as Bayesian Networks, to infer the relative risk of an undesirable event. As part of the relative risk calculation, the tool uses a simulation and gaming environment in which artificially intelligent actors interact with the environment to determine susceptibility to the undesired event. Preferred embodiments of the tool also include an open “plug-in” architecture that allows the tool to interface with existing consequence calculators. The tool also provides facilities for presenting data in a user-friendly manner as well as report generation facilities.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2007Date of Patent: March 22, 2016Assignee: HAYSTAX TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventors: Anthony Beverina, Bryan Ware
