  • Publication number: 20180283864
Abstract: The inventive concept presented is a trench slope angle tool and the method for using the slope angle tool during the excavation of a trench in a particular type of soil. In essence the slope angle tool is a planar, hand-held sighting device having a handle integrally attached to a Y-shaped component. The device may be utilized by a construction worker or project supervisor (the “user”) at a trenching worksite. The user visually superimposes the slope and banks of the trench against the contours of the slope angle tool to determine compliance with government-regulated excavation standards. Other important construction safeguards and govemmentally-regulated standards are also displayed on each face of the slope angle tool. In this manner, the correct trench sidewall slope, “spoil” pile locations, and other safety requirements can be readily observed to determine whether these elements are in compliance with the governmental regulations.

  • Publication number: 20100242851
Abstract: A flexible aquatic species barrier having a multiplicity of pulsators, each pulsator further comprising an anode lead, a cathode lead, and an potential difference generator, where each pulsator is proximately attached to a section of net, each section net comprising a anode conductive braid, a cathode conductive braid, and a net interposed between the anode conductive braid and the cathode conductive braid, and where the anode lead of the pulsator is connected to the anode conductive braid, and where the cathode lead of the pulsator is connected to the cathode conductive braid; whereby when one or more of the pulsators are activated, a potential difference is created between the anode conductive braid and the cathode conductive braid; such that when current flows between the anode conductive braid and the cathode conductive braid an aquatic species is repelled from the net.

  • Publication number: 20060179352
Abstract: A method and system of outputting a debug message from a mobile device application are disclosed. The method includes the steps of: (a) inserting an instruction set into the application which enables an application to output a debug message; (b) loading the application on the mobile device; and c) executing the application on the mobile device, such that that at least one debug message is output during execution of the application. The system includes: a) an instruction set which enables output of the debug message during execution of the application; and b) an executable module which inserts the instruction set into the application.
