    Abstract: An extendable door lock to be applied across the exterior of a door that opens outwards to help prevent illicit passage through the door thereby helping to prevent theft or damage to contents in a room or facility located behind the door. In addition, the extendable door lock can be applied to the interior of a door that happens to open inwards; such use can stop someone illicitly entering an office or other space where, for example, there is someone working late and alone who desires a lock to prevent someone entering the office. In one non-limiting embodiment, an extendable door lock is provided comprising: a first shaft, a second shaft, a first mounting bracket, a second mounting bracket, and a lock mechanism. In one non-limiting embodiment an extendable door lock sub-assembly is provided comprising: a first shaft, a second shaft, and a lock mechanism.

The lock is made up of a main body, a detachable locking plate, and a lock mechanism. The main body includes a post located in a crankshaft securing portion of the main body. The crankshaft securing portion includes a plurality of crankshaft guides and opposite facing lips which in combination provide a slot to accommodate the detachable locking plate. The post extends outward from an interior surface of the main body. The detachable locking plate fits over at least a portion of the crankshaft securing portion of the main body. The lock mechanism is in operable communication with the detachable locking plate.

    Abstract: A rolling door lock for a roll-up door, and more particularly a roll-up door that includes a latching handle assembly fitted to the exterior surface of a roll-up door. The latching handle assembly includes a handle and a hook. The rolling door lock attaches to the hook and handle of the latching handle assembly to prevent forced opening of the roll-up door. The rolling door lock includes a main body and a detachable bracket. The main body includes a hook securing portion and a pocket. The pocket includes a slot. During normal use the hook securing portion of the rolling door lock secures the hook of the latching handle assembly, and the detachable bracket secures the handle of the latching handle assembly. The lock mechanism locks the detachable bracket with the handle secured therein to the pocket.

    Abstract: A hitch storage device for securing a hitch to a vehicle that minimizes risk of accidental painful contact between the hitch and the operator of the vehicle. The hitch storage device includes a connecting member, a male hitch member, a hitch-support bracket, and a male protrusion member. The hitch storage device incorporates an integral passive securing mechanism whereby a hitch is secured without having to use an active hitch-securing device such as a bolt to secure the hitch shaft to the hitch storage device of the present invention. In a further embodiment, the male hitch member and hitch-support bracket are integrated to provide an L-shaped bracket with an integral sidewall.

    Abstract: The changeable combination skidsteer lock is an anti-theft device for a skid steer loader. The device attaches to the safety cage of the skid loader, proximate to one of the skid loader's drive controls. A U-bar component of the skid steer lock fits around one of the skid loader's drive controls to prevent operation of the drive control, preventing theft of the skid loader. A base plate is located on the inside of the cage, and is bolted to a mounting plate on the outside of the cage. Legs of the U-bar engage with a pair of sleeves extending from the base plate. In one embodiment, a locking mechanism is contained within a housing on the base plate to lock the U-bar securely in place. In an alternate embodiment, the U-bar is adapted to receive the shackle of a separate padlock, whereby the padlock secures the U-bar in place.
