  • Publication number: 20250148452
Abstract: Disclosed is a contactless card, and a system in which the contactless card may be used. The contactless card may include a chip component, a communication interface, processing circuitry, and electromagnetic field sensing circuitry. The electromagnetic field sensing circuitry of the contactless card may be operable to provide orientation signals to the processing circuitry when the contactless card is in proximity to an oscillating electromagnetic field output by a card reader device. The processing circuitry of the contactless card may be operable to receive the orientation signals. An orientation of the contactless card with respect to the mobile device may be determined. An orientation indication signal may be generated based on the determined orientation, and a haptic indication, an audio indication, a visual indication or a combination directing movement of the contactless card in a particular direction may be output.

  • Publication number: 20250142608
Abstract: Methods and systems for limiting resource access based on user input using an authentication token. In some aspects, the authentication token receives user input indicating a first allocation for a first resource access to be executed at a first time. The authentication token generates recommendations for a second allocation related to the first allocation. The user selects a second allocation. At the first time, the authentication token receives a first resource access request and executes the first allocation. The authentication token also transmits first metadata to an access approval system. At the second time, in response to a second resource access request, the authentication token or the access approval system compares the second resource access request to the first metadata or the second allocation to approve or decline the second resource access request.

  • Publication number: 20250131079
Abstract: Methods of verifying a user's identity using trusted members of the user's community are provided. Users may request trusted friends and family members register as vouching users. If a user needs to confirm the user's identity, such as during a multifactor authentication verification or in the event of a forgotten credential, vouching users may be called upon to verify user identity. Vouching users may confirm a user's identity via a group communication session or by proving physical proximity to the user. Physical proximity may be proven by tapping a token, such as an electronic device or a transaction card, to either the user's device and/or the vouching user's device. Using trusted friends and family members to verify a user's identity safeguards online accounts from deep fake AI creations and protects susceptible online users from phishing schemes and social engineering attacks.

  • Publication number: 20250131231
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically locking a contactless card are provided. A server can identify when a timer associated with the contactless card expires, lock the contactless card after the timer has expired, receive, via a short-range communication antenna of a mobile device in communication with the server, a cryptogram from the contactless card, successfully decrypt the cryptogram to authenticate the contactless card, and when the contactless card has been authenticated, unlock the contactless card.

  • Publication number: 20250094964
Abstract: Example embodiments of systems and methods for data transmission between a contactless card, a client application, and a server are provided. The memory of the contactless card may include a first card number table storing a first plurality of card numbers, each card number associated with a user account. A first applet may cycle through the first card number table and transmit each of the first plurality of card numbers to a second applet. In response to detection of one or more gestures by the card, the client application may read one or more of the first plurality of card numbers from the second applet and transmit a verification request associated with the one or more read card numbers to the server, which may compare the one or more read card numbers to a number from a second card number table and transmit a verification determination to authenticate the card.

  • Patent number: 12248084
Abstract: In some implementations, a user device may receive one or more first advertisements from one or more first beacons. Accordingly, the user device may exchange check-in messages with a remote device based on the one or more first advertisements. The user device may track a location using at least one or more signal strengths associated with the one or more first beacons and one or more signal strengths associated with one or more second beacons. The user device may further display and update a map based on tracking the location. The user device may receive one or more second advertisements from the one or more second beacons. Accordingly, the user device may request first information associated with the one or more second beacons that is different from second information associated with one or more third beacons. The user device may further display the first information.

  • Publication number: 20250045591
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for using machine learning to generate and use synthetic profiles. A computing device may train a machine learning model to generate synthetic user profiles. The computing device may then use the trained machine learning model to generate a plurality of synthetic user profiles based on real user profile information, provide those synthetic user profiles to a quote provider via an API, then average the quotes received from that provider to determine an expected quote for the real user. The computing device may also collect a plurality of quotes from a quote provider based on synthetic user profiles, then train a second machine learning model to estimate quotes by that provider. That trained second machine learning model may be used to estimate quotes for users, and may be re-trained based on real quotes provided by the quote provider at a later time.

  • Publication number: 20250029102
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may include a system for authenticating a transaction within close proximity to a designated object. The system may generate a GUI that may include one or more interactive elements that are configured to allow a user to associate a transaction card with a designated object. The system may receive a user input configured to restrict use of the transaction card to within a specified range of the designated object and transaction data associated with an attempted transaction made at a point-of-sale device. The system may determine a location of the attempted transaction based on the transaction data. The system may receive designated object location data that represents a location of the designated object from a tracking device associated with the designated object. Responsive to determining that the attempted transaction is within the specified range of the designated object, the system may authorize the attempted transaction.

  • Publication number: 20250023854
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for processing electronic messages. A processing system may be used to facilitate the processing. The system may receive a plurality of electronic messages associated with a user and may input electronic messages into a machine learning model to obtain electronic messages that contain authorization packages for entities, wherein the machine learning model is trained to identify electronic messages that contain authorization packages. The system may determine based on the electronic messages an authorization package comprising a token identifier, and entity identification data identifying an entity. The system may determine an application programming interface for communicating with an entity device and user identification data used by the user to access the entity device. The system may then transmit a command for executing a first operation at the entity device, wherein the command includes the user identification data and the authorization package.
