  • Publication number: 20220361962
Abstract: A system, including various apparatus and methods, for surgical navigation is provided. The system is configured to track the spine of a patient by capturing images via one or more cameras. The cameras are configured to capture images of one or more arrays. The system transmits the images to a computer system. The one or more arrays are releasably secured with the spine of the patient, such as by a spine pin or a spine clamp. The system can determine the spatial position and orientation of relevant anatomical features, implants, and instruments using and processing the captured images.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 9510771
Abstract: The present application includes a position tracking system for tracking the location of surgical objects within the surgical field, a neuromonitoring system for detecting the existence of (and optionally the distance and/or direction to) neural structures during a surgical procedure, and a processing system communicatively linked to both the position tracking system and the neuromonitoring system.

  • Patent number: 6347747
Abstract: A stand-alone thermostat that mounts flush to a wall and obtains improved accuracy in ambient temperature measurement by actively intaking air from the room interior. An internal temperature measurement chamber communicates between air inlet and outlet. A heat generator located within the temperature measurement chamber causes thermal convection, the convection generating an air flow thus drawing ambient room air into the measurement chamber, across a temperature sensor, and out the outlet air opening. This feature assures that the temperature of room interior air is accurately measured.

  • Patent number: 6150927
Abstract: An anti-vandalism detection and alarm system is disclosed for detecting and reporting the scratching of relatively hard materials such as glass and plastic which generate characteristic sound or vibration frequencies during scratching, and for detecting and reporting the cutting and slashing of relatively soft materials such as fabric, leather and plastic.
