    Abstract: A process and product for extracting particulate solids from pit-like enclosures and thence separating the particulate solids from the liquids used to vacuum the particulate solids out of the enclosures by utilizing a stream of water under pressure for loosening the solid waste collected in the bottom of the enclosure and simultaneously vacuuming the loosened solid waste and the liquid out of the pit though one or more porous tanks containing filters and separately disposing of the solid waste deposited on top of the filters and the liquids passing through the filters.
