    Abstract: A latch type solenoid switch including a frame, a permanent magnet providing magnetic force to the frame, a coil unit which offsets the magnetic force of a permanent magnet when power is supplied, and a moving part which adheres to and detaches from the frame depending on the power supply to the coil unit. Anti-corrosion coating is applied to the surface of the frame and the moving part. The plating thickness on the contact surfaces between the frame and the moving part is thinner than on the other surfaces of the two bodies.

    Abstract: In a slim type optical disc drive, an optical pickup unit and an optical pickup transport assembly are installed on a main base disposed in a housing having a lower case and an upper case. A spindle motor is mounted on a tray so as to slide in and out of the housing. A spindle motor printed circuit board is mounted on the tray, and a main printed circuit board is fixed to the lower case. A flexible printed circuit connects the spindle motor and main printed circuits boards. The tray includes a table which supports the spindle motor, and side frame bars located at sides of the tray and spaced apart from the table. A pair of guide ribs are arranged in the housing to guide the movement of the table. In the slim type optical disc drive, only the spindle motor is disposed on the tray.

    Abstract: A color synchronization method and a color laser printer form a color image by forming an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive body using a laser scanning unit, developing the electrostatic latent image, and transferring the developed image onto a transfer belt. The printer includes a light source which radiates light, a timing belt which rotates the photosensitive body, a plurality of timing displays, which are provided on the timing belt at a constant interval, and on which the light radiated from the light source is incident, and a light receiving portion which detects the light reflected or transmitted by the timing displays. Synchronization for each color is controlled in response to a signal received by the light receiving portion.

    Abstract: An apparatus for cooling an electronic device includes a case where a plurality of air intake/exhaust holes through which air passes are formed. A plate type mobile member is installed to vibrate in the case and divides an inner space of the case into an upper space and a lower space. An elastic support film is fixed in the case to support the mobile member and has a bulged portion capable of being elastically deformed. A driving device is provided for vibrating the mobile member. By the vibration of the mobile member, air in the upper and lower spaces of the case is exchanged with outside air through the air intake/exhaust holes so that a heat source is cooled.

The vibration absorption device is provided for absorbing rotational vibration due to the eccentric mass of the polygonal mirror, by elastically moving in the radial direction of the polygonal mirror. Therefore, the linearity of a scan line scanned from the laser scanning unit to the photoreceptor medium can be maintained.
