Abstract: A valve control system includes a valve control device and a hand-held actuating apparatus for triggering operating actions within the valve control device. The hand-held actuating apparatus includes a magnet arrangement and the valve control device includes a magnetic field sensor arrangement adapted to the magnet arrangement of the hand-held actuating apparatus. The magnet arrangement includes one or more magnets and an actuating means. The magnetic fields of the magnets are individually variable by the actuating means without movement of the hand-held actuating apparatus relative to the magnetic field sensor arrangement.

Abstract: A gas mixer has at least two mass flow controllers which can control the gas mass flow rate of a gas line. A control unit is connected to the mass flow controllers to control the gas mass flow rate through each of the gas lines. Each mass flow controller has a volume counter, and the control unit is provided with a volume signal for each gas line. A method of controlling a gas mixer is provided in which a target value for the gas mass flow rate is predefined for a plurality of mass flow controllers each associated with a gas line. The ratio of the volumes that have flowed through the mass flow controllers up to now of the gases to be mixed are taken into account in determining the target values for the gas mass flow rate.

Abstract: A method and a device for open-loop or closed-loop control of a process uses an actuator, a position sensor, a process valve, a process sensor, and a tuning stage. n positions of the process valve are approached, and the associated actual position values are detected. The respective actual process values are detected for each corresponding actual position value to thus obtain value pairs of actual position values and actual process values. Correction values are calculated based on the identified value pairs, and position set values corrected with the correction values are determined to compensate for nonlinearities of the process, such that a linear overall behavior is achieved.
