Abstract: A device to cut and store bait, the device having a base including a floor and a wall extending upward from a perimeter of the floor, a recess extending from an upper edge of the wall, a lid configured to fit in register with the upper edge of the wall so as to form an enclosure with the base when the device is closed, and a cutting member extending from the lid and configured to be positioned adjacent the recess when the device is closed so as to substantially block access to the enclosure through the recess, wherein the cutting member is configured so as to move through an area adjacent and axial to the recess when the lid is being closed.
