  • Publication number: 20120153055
Abstract: An electrostatic atomization device provided with a transformer including primary and secondary coils. A switching element is connected in series to the primary coil. A switching element drive circuit provides the switching element with a pulse signal to perform a switching operation and generate high voltage from the secondary coil. A discharge unit including a discharge electrode performs electrostatic atomization on liquid supplied to the discharge electrode to generate charged fine liquid droplets when high voltage generated by the secondary coil is applied to the discharge electrode. The switching element drive circuit generates a pulse signal having an oscillation frequency set so that the transformer has drooping characteristics that prevent air discharge from occurring between the discharge electrode and ground even when load on the discharge unit varies and prevents the generation of ozone having a predetermined concentration or greater when the liquid undergoes electrostatic atomization.

  • Publication number: 20110028869
Abstract: An exercise equipment comprises a movable portion 7 for supporting a user, a driving means for driving the movable portion 7. Further the exercise equipment comprises a stimulus means 87, detectors 86, 88, and a judgment means C2. The stimulus means 87 is configured to apply an informational stimulus to the user supported by the movable portion 7. The detectors 86, 88 detect a motion of the user supported by the movable portion. The judgment means C2 is configured to perform a judgment based on outputs from the stimulus means and the detector. Therefore, the exercise equipment can provide the user with both of effective passive and active exercises.

  • Publication number: 20110021954
Abstract: A program selecting means 22 which selects an exercise program appropriate for a user on the basis of user information obtained by the user information obtaining means 21, a device control means 25 which causes a passive exercise device 1 to perform an operation on the basis of the selected exercise program, and a program varying means 23 which varies the selected exercise program in a prescribed range in accordance with an instruction of the user are comprised. A user can vary the exercise program being selected on the basis of the user information, in accordance with user's preference. Because this variation is permitted only within a prescribed range, such a variation that is to provide the user with excessive stress can be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20110021953
Abstract: Exercise apparatus is configured to cause a human body to exercise by adding an external force generated through a drive means to the human body to cause the human body to exert a force counteracting the external force. The apparatus includes: a timer means 21 for measuring the time, which the drive means operated, as exercise time; a storage means 6 for storing the measured exercise time together with time and date; and an arithmetic control means 2 for indicating accumulated exercise time evaluated from the stored exercise time to a user through an indication means 4. The continuity of exercise can be enhanced and the calculated exercise can be easily practiced.

  • Publication number: 20100190616
Abstract: An exercising apparatus includes a movable unit on which a user straddles and a driving unit for driving the movable unit. The driving unit changes a state of the movable unit to provide the user with an exercising load. A storage part stores corresponding relationships between the states of the movable unit and the messages, and a state detector detects the state of the movable unit at approximately the same timing as the output timing determined by an output timing determination part. A message output part outputs messages corresponding to the user's postures repeatedly during a period of providing the user with an exercising load. The message output part extracts the message corresponding to the state of the movable unit detected by the state detector from the storage part and outputs the extracted message at the output timing determined by the output timing determination part.

  • Publication number: 20100125024
Abstract: A rocking-type exercise device includes a seat on which a user can sits, a seat rocking unit for reciprocating the seat at least in one direction, a control unit for controlling the seat rocking unit so as to reciprocate the seat, and a detector unit for detecting a user's exercise posture to obtain detected information. The control unit includes a feedback stimulus output unit for comparing the detected information obtained by the detector unit with a target value and for outputting, if a difference exits between the detected information and the target value, a feedback stimulus by which to make the detected information come close to the target value.
