  • Patent number: 10252142
Abstract: A robot server assembly for serving table tennis balls comprising a body defining an internal ball path, means for introducing balls into the internal ball path at the lower end of the body; a ball guide at the upper end of the back panel, a serving head assembly at the upper end of the body having a ball discharge tube in communication with the ball guide; a pair of opposed discharge wheel operatively associated with the discharge tube; a plurality of gears associated with the serving head; at least one servo motor associated with at least one of the gears to actuate rotation of the gear; whereby actuation of a least one of said gears affects 180° rotation of the serving head about a longitudinal axis of the serving head, up and down movement of the serving head and side to side movement of the serving head.

  • Publication number: 20180050475
Abstract: In a plastic injection machine, a controller in electrical communication with a motorized clamp assembly, a heated cylinder barrel, a motorized pre-plasticizing assembly, an injection assembly, and an air mover and that executes an application that configures the controller to: (i) feed thermoplastic material into a heated cylinder barrel that is closed at one end by an injection valve; (ii) warm the heated cylinder barrel to thermoplastic material to a liquid state; (iii) actuate an injection motor to preload a spring biased plunger received within another end of the heated cylinder barrel, thereby pressurizing liquid thermoplastic material in the heating cylinder barrel to an injection pressure set value; (iv) actuate an injection valve motor to open the injection valve causing the pressurized liquid thermoplastic material to inject into a clamped mold; and (v) release a portion of the clamped mold to release the molded article.

  • Publication number: 20150309508
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a radio controlled (RC) model vehicle by using a gyroscope based radio transmitter to allow user to have an experience closer to a real life vehicle driving experience. The system consists of a palm size steering wheel, screen display and a pedal. The system is applicable to radio controlled (RC) vehicles such as cars, boats or planes by employing gyroscope technology with coupling the physical orientation of the RC vehicle and the radio transmitter. In one specific embodiment of the invention, the system is demonstrated for an RC model car. In addition, the user settings method to assign specific settings to a specific user is disclosed. Finally, the method for the managing the telemetry information from the vehicle and collecting the user driving session data are also disclosed.
