  • Patent number: 8419073
Abstract: In a fuel distributor assembly having a manifold (10) and at least one connecting nipple (12), which is welded to the manifold, for connecting a branch pipe to a transverse bore (16) leading through the wall of the manifold (10), an outer side of the connecting nipple transitions into the outer side of the manifold via an annular groove (26) that at least partially surrounds the outer side of the connecting nipple and is formed into the outer side of the manifold.

  • Publication number: 20110174270
Abstract: A pressure relief valve suitable for limiting fluid pressure in a common rail of a fuel injection system comprises a first housing part having a first through-bore with a first segment, a second segment and the valve seat defined therebetween. A second housing part is screw fastened with the first housing part and includes a second through-bore disposed coaxially to the first through-bore. An overall rod-shaped valve member is axially displaceable within the second segment. A spring biases the valve member towards the valve seat. A portion of the valve member opposite of the valve seat includes a shaft having a terminal end formed with a non-round cross-section configured such that a tool inserted through the second through-bore and engaging the non-round cross-section prevents the terminal end, and thus the valve member, from rotating relative to the first housing part when the first and second housing parts are screwed together.

  • Patent number: 7290800
Abstract: A telescoping steering shaft, especially an intermediate steering shaft, with an inner rod (1) and an outer tube (2), placed thereon in twist-proof fashion and able to slide lengthwise by means of a roller bearing unit (3), while the roller bearing unit (3), which can move axially relative to the inner rod (1) and outer tube (2), has a plurality of rolling elements (5) held in a retainer (4), and is configured such that at least one driver (6) is mounted in the roller bearing retainer (4), engaging by form fit with the wall of the inner rod (1) and the outer tube (2).

  • Patent number: 7174803
Abstract: A steering shaft for motor vehicles which comprises an inner and an outer shaft part. Each shaft part has a polygonal cross section. The shaft parts engage one another in telescoping fashion and are positively connected to one another by barrel-shaped rolls that are effective as rolling elements for the transmission of a torque. The running paths of the rolls are fashioned between vertices on the outer sides of the inner shaft part and the inner sides of the outer shaft part and are designed so that the running paths are fashioned as troughs of a concavity approximating to the convexity of the rolls.
