  • Patent number: 7116346
Abstract: A device sets the focus of at least one exposure head on a recording material, in particular a printing plate, in an exposer for recording printing originals. An exposer has an exposure drum for holding the printing plates, and an exposure-head carrier, which contains a carrier plate for holding exposure heads, and a carrier base. The carrier plate and the carrier base are connected such that they can move by a hinge which is disposed on the front side of the exposure-head carrier, facing the exposure drum. The rear of the carrier plate is raised or lowered by a tilting drive, as a result of which the exposure heads are moved jointly and substantially radially toward the exposure drum or away from the exposure drum. The hinge is preferably formed from at least one spring plate.

  • Patent number: 6876378
Abstract: An apparatus for producing a printing form which, with little expenditure, permits exact beam alignment and positioning. The apparatus for producing the printing form contains a holder for at least one printing form blank, and at least one imaging module, which can be moved relative to the printing form blank and which contains at least one radiation source which, in order to produce image elements that accept printing ink, is aimed at the surface of the printing form blank and whose beam direction can be adjusted. The imaging module being accommodated in a six-point mounting in three bearing locations, each bearing location containing a spherical element and an associated bearing element and in each case the spherical element rests on it and, in order to adjust the beam direction, at least one element of one bearing location being disposed adjustably.

  • Publication number: 20040145646
Abstract: A device for producing a printing form includes a printing form carrier, a holder and an imaging head fixed to the holder. The imaging head has at least one radiation source and is positionable along a printing form blank for directing radiation onto the printing form blank for producing printing ink-accepting image points in accordance with an image. A tempering or temperature control configuration is provided for the holder.

  • Publication number: 20030222970
Abstract: A device for producing a printing form includes a radiation source for emitting at least one imaging beam directed to a material whereon an image is to be set. A device is provided for positioning the radiation source relative to and parallel to a surface of the material. A shutter is to be positioned for shielding between the radiation source and the material when an image is not being set on the material. An element is actionable for positioning the shutter while an image is being set on the material.

  • Patent number: 6640704
Abstract: The method and the device provide for the balancing of rotating bodies, in particular for balancing the drum of a reproduction unit such as a roller of a printing plate exposure device. At least one weight element is provided as a balancing element that can be repositioned along a predetermined movement path, especially a movement path running at a constant radial distance from the axis of rotation of the rotating body. The weight element compensates for imbalances and it can be fixed in different balancing positions by interlocking engagement.
