    Abstract: A self-energized alarm device which can signal unauthorized entry such as through a doorway or window. The alarm device is preferably energized by a spring mechanism and utilizes a bell which is activated by means of an arm member and vibrated by an escapement. A standard slide bolt door latch is incorporated in the alarm device as a means for actuating the arm member.
